Swiftboard.com has made a bogus offer of a free keyboard to those who register for the free service which allegedly enables users to gain quick access to shopping services on the web. I along with many others signed up and were informed that we were confirmed and would receive our free keyboard in the order of receipt of our request. Well, that was September of last year! Attempts to email the webmaster are returned as undeliverable mail. Sounds like Swiftboard pulled a "swift" one on us all! My latest information from the website allows that the free offer is no longer available. Was it ever?

I ordered a swiftboard as did several of my friends and although it took a long time (months) they did finally come through with them. I think they are overwhelmed with orders is all. Hang in there it should come.

I waited for months for my swiftboard to arrive and was kept in constant communication with the company. They were backlogged, and gave no excuses for it. It was obvious many more took advantage of their offer but they kept getting them out, mine, my brothers, my aunts, though slow, did arrive well packaged and in good condition. When a company over-GIVES, expect to wait- at least they were giving and I expect impatient trouble makers put an end to their trying to fulfill their promise all by themselves.

I ordered the same keyboard from Swiftboard.com. I also received an email explaining that there was a backlog, however, I did receive my keyboard and I am very happy with it. Instead of contacting the webmaster I contacted their customer service people from the website and they responded very positively. I don't think they did anything wrong intentionally, I think they got overloaded by the request of so many free keyboards wanted. Just my oponion and my experience with the company.

Swiftboard.com -Bogus offer (#4711) Swiftboard.com (Advertising / Deceptive) 3/19/01 (Last Modified: 3/19/01) They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Starla Rebuttal: I too ordered a free swiftboard about a year ago and I waited for weeks for it to arrive. I even got an email in november saying "We're backlogged but we'll be sending your keyboard soon" Even then I didn't receive the keyboard until last month! So even though it took them a whole year to send me the keyboard, they eventually did and its a nice one. Just don't expect it anytime soon.....
