I am a single divorced mother and had not received any child-support in 4 years. I finally had enough of the court sytem not helping to locate the absent parent, so a friend if mine helped me locate him.

It took 3 months of searching, we went to post offices and we even went to an address we found on him that was in another state. It was our only hope but he was already gone. We asked the new tenants if they had an address on the last tenants. Bingo.

When i found him i gave the court his address. they went after him and gave me a hearing. I finally started receiving support after 4and a half long yrs.

About 4 months into receiving my checks, I got a check from this agency for 80.00. I called them asked them what it was about and they told me they had a contract from me giving them permission to collect my checks, minus a huge chunk for their fee.

My friend told me he requested their help because he thought we would not find him. Obviously they did not help or do anything I was already receiving checks for months. They have continued to take all of my checks for 2 yrs. I never signed anything they know it.

I want to thankyou for your info. concerning the law suit concerning supportkids. I have got in touch with my ex and we dicussed supportkids. They actually contacted him at his job and asked if our child was amansapated. They sent me a letter stating they would take their name off his wage withholdings and they have not. They took money from his checks now for 3 years and never credited him a dime. This means that the court in his county took him to jail for back support thinking he was behind on payments. He showed the court his garnishments and they would not credit him the amount. Any checks that were coming to me were routed to Supportkids so they also took a huge chunk of the 2,ooo contempt payment. They are still taking money from his check, but are sending it directly to me. They wont stop because they have to admit their guilt in not reporting his payments for 3 years!

i need to get in touch with other people like me who are having a problem with supportkids. can contact me thru this site care of the editor? as they wont let us put in our e-mail address. i have contacted the state att.gen of nevada and texas, i have contacted sentors of nevada and texas,i have contacted federal trade comm. and i got a copy of the papers i signed after i kept asking supportkids for months for them....looking over them there is a out...go to texas st. att.gen site..look for the REVOCATION OF AUTHORIZATION OF INFORMATION/PAYMENTS..form is 1A005.. fill out, get notarized, send one to your local D.A.s office then one to texas to st. attorney general office. it will stop supportkids from taking your child support. what it does is sign your child support back to you and you can collect it again..also in checking out, federal guide lines say that because its a federal program that the D.A.s office is to get the money first then send it on..what supportkids do is go around the D.A.s office and get a wage attachment and get the company to send the money to them instead of the D.A.s office like federal guide lines say to do.now contact your local news with the story..save your money,we are strugling parents raising our kids need every dime..use what we can find and share, also there is a site where you can read about patricia zipperer, she sued support kids, she won,in wisconsin circuit court, county of manitowoc.. case number 30106 24 pages of good information.. first cause of action fraud in the inducement, second cause of action-breach of fiduciary duty,3rd cause of action-violation of texas deceptive trade practices-consumer protection act. now as for you i am not sure what you did,did you get back support they took? or are you just now getting your monthly support with out support kids taking there cut of 34%? by the way just to let you know ,support kids said they opened a case in texas for me so they could get the att.general of texas to send the child support check to supportkids...guess what? there is no case filed in texas,as D.A.s office and i both called and found out..strange huh? out of the 15 or so companys that do the service of child suport like supportkids i would say at least 10 or more are in texas..hum? does the state hide these business? and in looking, the ceo of the company was on prez bush's transition team when he took office..hum,so how far does this scam reach and who is getting there pockets lined with child support that is getting ripped off? meanwhile we the parents are getting the short end,as the D.A.s office doesnt want to do anything and it takes getting sentors and governor and others to lit a fire under there seats to get them to help. i am lucky to have a person in the D.A.s office that is helping me and that really is trying to help. As they where telling me prior that they where going to close my case and they cant geeet me a raise in child support or insurance for the kids as long as i have another agency in the picture..its like they are mad at us for looking for help to collect the child support because federal program isnt working.. we get told there is 200 cases our case worker has and guess what we are just 1 of the 200..so in other words they are over worked and dont have the man power to trace down dead beat parents. so dont give up hope..i am a jewish mom, i believe in faith and god, good people as well. and i will not let these people rip off my boys..its been 5 months but its coming to a end..keep in touch, also i did e-mail ripoffreport and asked to get in touch nothing has happen yet.

How I am taking my money back from Supportkids

I have contacted the Attorney General of Texas. Supportkids finally stopped stealing my checks when I proved the signatures did not match and a few other illegal things they were doing. I sent them certified mail with copies of my support case and proved that they did not take my ex- to court as they were claiming. There is a web site called child-support in whatever state you live in. This gave me access to all my case. I sent copies of everything to them and the attorney general, the BBB, and the mail fraud division of Texas. I am trying to get a class action suit against Supportkids. If enough people that have been ripped-off or are still unfortunate enough to have Supportkids stealing your support money, well if we all take action it will make a difference. They have kept $6,770.32 of my child-support money. This amount is the 35% they took from my checks. I never gave up fighting them until they finally crawled away like the worms they are. They do not check signitures at supportkids. The only thing they need is your court order info. I lived in Phila. when my original case was open, then moved to Doylestown and Supportkids did not even have my new info. Whoever wrote to them sent my info from Phila not Doylestown and all my case info, changed. For instance my original weekly amount was set at 60.00, when I moved I was able to get a modification on the amount and I was awarded 168.00 weekly. I had to close out the case in Phila. first, but Supportkids did not know this and they were going after my ex- for 60.00. They were sending me these checks for about 6 months before they even knew about my new case. I was receiving my check from the state in the new amount for a year before they stated tapping into it. The thing that they messed up on was they got extra greedy and continued taking money from both checks. I called the court in Phila on them and told Supportkids they were going to pay all the money back they took from my ex- on a closed-out case. Suddenly they stopped taking my checks and said my case was closed. I know it was because of the checks not because of them using my name. I am still looking into a way to sue them for all of this because they have caused so much trouble in my life. If you have any advise for me contact me via this report on ripoffreport.com [deleted]. If someone else signed it, then you need to take it to an attorney and get that money back. Because those checks were supposed to be under your name, and for someone else to sign the contract, how can they take the money or even my next question, when they write the clearance house to make the changes to their company name, why did they not look at and verify who signed it and who is getting the check? Take them to court. A good attorney will work on a contigency basis. Don't let them keep doing this. I read the contract, and made a bunch of phone calls and emails. Specifically asking them if they can do liens, levys, tax interception, occupational, driver's and hunting license removals, and how many times a month they will call my ex, what they will say and spell out an itemize the EXACT legal actions they will perform and if they have to follow the Fair Credit Act. Well they always want you to "call" they will never spell anything out in writing. Therefore, I did not sign up. Until it is in black and white, and don't be afraid to add in your own writing and see if they will agree to it. If not, you don't need them you can do it yourself. The court will have a dept or the district atty will pursue..they have to.
