I was stopped one evening going up to my apartment by a young kid who was selling magazine subscriptions....and YES I should have known better I know!
I was talked into ordering a 2 year subscription to Prevention for the HIGH price of $81.00. Way over even retail. This was done on March 20, 2008 and as of this date (May 30, 2008) I have not seen anything.
I tried to email Superstar Sales, Inc. from their website & the page came up with no such website. Then tried calling (877-359-5320) and they informed me that this number is no longer in service.
So I know I am out the $81.00, but I just hope that is all that becomes of my giving a check to this young man. It is a well learned lesson.....never again!
It's too bad that one bad company can harm those companies that are good.
I would be ashamed to work for any such company....they must all be ripe off artists!
