All groceries are taxed in our state. Except edible foods. These are foods you put into your mouth and eat them. Example: pork chops, steak and etc. Snack foods are not considered edible foods for they are not nurishing to the body. This standard is set up through the welfare dept. of the state of Ky. sorry you dont seem to understand what the laws are concerning edible foods. I hope this will take care of your lack of knowledge.

I don't understand what you mean by "edible food" versus other foods. Aren't all foods meant to be eaten? Why would anyone buy "inedible food" if there even were such a thing? May I suggest that you research your state's tax policy as it seems you do not understand it at all.
