Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
DO NOT BOARD at this stable. First of all Sue Plasman is not liked by anyone who's done business with her except her little barn cronies. Second, she asks boarders for cash payments claiming "oh I have to pay the workers and I need cash" so I paid her like a dummy. Then when I go to leave and need to make my final payment she runs out and says "Hey, you owe me $1500 or so dollars" in front of my hauler and the rest of the barn. How professional huh? And I did NOT owe the amount. I told her she'd best get me that in writing from the accountant. She never did. She's so unprofessional that she gets on her cell and calls her accountant and then scrawls some numbers on an envelope. All bullshit. Anyhow, I gave her 30 days notice to get her s**t together and this is what she pulls. Like I'm gonna hand her cash there on the spot when I know she pocketed my other cash and conveniently failed to tell the accountant or her partner George Bradbury? (if you know George you may want to tell him.)

Tenants at my old house said someone even tried to come to my house to bring an invoice after I moved. After I'd given Sue all my new contact info in another state. Can you say DUH?

Anyhow, the barn is not worth what she charges and its pretty rundown. Sue is actually responsible for someone's horse getting killed too by the way. Idiot has signs not to turn out in the round pen right? Sides are low, horse can jump out whatever. What does Sue Plasman do in a Thunderstorm? She turns someone's beloved horse out, it panics and tries to jump the side...horse died or was euthanized I forget. Sue is a terrible horseperson and a worse barn manager.

The two workers if they are still there, Bill and Tim Gannon are the sons of the woman Rita Gannon who owns the acreage the barn sits on. Sue treats them like s**t and won't let them board their horses there. Then a bunch of us overheard Sue and Frank Sarno talking about "putting some more stalls in" and having a new trainer bring his clients and "George doesn't have to know anything" like they'd collect on extra stalls and pocket the money. I heard this out of their mouths in the tack room one day so did other folks.

I took lessons with trainers there who were nice enough. Alice Sarno was great so was Janice Kruglick. They are the only reasons I stayed at the barn - I hated Sue and most of the clicky ****** there. The barn is not organized well and its quite the free-for-all - horses always getting loose etc.

Watch out for the dressage court - Sue again, decided to be cheap and use wood stakes to outline dressage arena. There are nice pointy nails atop each post to which they hook the white chain for shows. Need I say "impale" if you fall off your horse on one of those ingeniously stupid posts?

Trust me - bad barn, bad horse sense, way too expensive, and Sue Plasman cannot be trusted. Period.

File a statement with the IRS and detail the cash you paid her and the average she is collecting a week from others. How do you spell IRS audit and TAX SALE of her property! Done!
