Strohs Super, Sports Fraudlent Sales Rep & Billing Ripoff Spokane Valley Washington
I heard an add on the radio for a 90 day $29.99 trial, so I went down and signed my husband and I up. The sales rep, Tony, asked us to sign a form that we were told was a form stating that we were aware of the 90 day free trial. We signed. It included a space for my bank routing number and account #, and he said that was in case we wanted to sign up, but nothing would be taken out until the trial period, and after the trial it was $39.99 for a year. I put my info down.
When I got my bank statement, it showed a $50 withdrawl from Stroh's--aside from the initial check I wrote them for $29.99!! When I called, they said that is the standard fee and I actually signed a 1 year membership contract! I canceled the account right away, and demanded my money back. They said no. I went down and talked to a mananger who agreed the sales rep lied and ripped us off. He said there were 3 other withdrawls already made for $50 each!!! He told us it's be taken care of. Two weeks later we get a call from a collection agency for over $600 worth of "unpaid gym dues".
Every time I call Strohs, they keep telling me it's fixed. This has been ongoing for 3 months now! I even threatened legal action, they don't care. This place will rip you off and debit your bank account for seemingly whatever they want to! Do NOT join Strohs Supersports!
