I have had Straight talk service for approx. 18 months now and I just noticed that they had been billing my bank account for 2 separte amounts each and every month for the last 6 months.  They billed it 5 days apart on each month.  One of the charges is $49.31 then billing me 5 days later for $46.60.   When I called Straight talk they told me that they where only charging me one time a month and wouldn't do anything about it.  I told them the dates and the amounts that they charged to my debit card.

They are blaming the bank for the error.  My bank isn't the one that put in to be paid Straight talk is.  I hadn't noticed it because my eye sight was imparred by cateracts and noticed it today after getting my cateracts removed. 

I have stopped the auto debit of my account.

I received a reply from Straight Talk that said to call the customer service number and they would resolve the matter.  I called the number and got the same run around as I did the 3 other times that I have tried to get this matter resolved.  They keep saying that they have not taken 2 payments out of my bank account.  Since both debits end in the same 4 last numbers and they are both from Straight talk I told them to look up my account number that they have on file to charge me.  They wouldn't !! 

I went to the bank and they are filing a Fraud Claim against Straight Talk and will refund the overpayments in 10 days.  They also gave me a new debit card so they can't charge me again. 

All I can do is to warn people to watch there billing on there accounts closely so that this doesn't happen to you.  It has been extremely upsetting to me to have to deal with such incompetence with this company.
