Recently, I attended one of these high sales pitch seminars in Alexandria, VA. I was extremely skeptical about the cost and for very good reason. Although a friend attended the seminar with me and "joined" we were able to retrieve his money back from these terrible people. Unfortunately, we do no believe that we were successful in saving people in Maryland and Arlington, VA from this rip-off group.
I contacted the Utah States Attorney General's Office and the Office of Consumer Protection. StoresOnline was recently involved with a lawsuit, which became final in December, that made them re-write their contracts, particularly on their "All Sales are Final" conditions. Although they are legal to conduct business they have been BANNED in the following states: Washington, California, Maine, Montana, and Florida to name a few! The OCP is very aware of ripoffreport.com but because these actions take place in other states they have very little legal recourse. However, they are willing to listen and hope that people will file complaints with their office if StoresOnline is stating in their seminars that they "DESIGNED or HOST" certain websites when in fact they do not design or host those sites.
I also contacted the County Manager's office in Arlington, VA to make them aware of what was going to happen in that county. The Consumer Affairs devision informed me that they would send the information to the Fraud Division of the local police department to have them attend the seminar being held to see the legitemancy of the presentation. A local investigative news agency was also contacted.
We can put them out of business if we work together!
