Warning to all prospective customers and employees of Stirling Audio Services (SAS):

Jimmy Ferrante communication skills (or lack thereof) create a hostile work environment. Jimmy Ferrnate does nothing to address issues of racism and sexism, therefore creating a hostile work environment. Employees are expected to work for substandard wages with inadequate and outdated equipment on a daily basis. Owner Jimmy Ferrante is habitually delinquent in issuing paychecks. Jimmy violates numerous labor laws such as neglecting to pay overtime and not insuring his employees leaving the client liable for any accident that may occur. Employee turnover is surprisingly high, as every new employee realizes the SAS working conditions are disgraceful.

Jimmy Ferrante's accounting and billing methods should be made illegal. He pays employees less than he initially agrees to, and he charges customers more than quoted. His credit is horrible...if you sell him anything, I advise cash only on delivery. He has numerous outstanding debts that he ignores.

Jimmy Ferrante Quote: " My employees are the scum of the earth and completely disposable."

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Tue, March 24, 2015

I worked for Jimmy going back to 1995. His equipment was well taken care of and as close to up to date as possible.

Jimmy is not a racist and he would not put up with anyone hired that were.

However some shows we did were maily black audiences and we would get slammed for being white. We did 6 shows in 2 months with Ray Charles and never had a problem. His road manager told us flat out on the first show that if Ray didn't like how it sounded they would never call on us again

If we ever did have a problem it was because the costumers asked for something more that what they asked for or was paying for.

As far as this quote "My employees are the scum of the earth and completely disposable."

There are times when he would hire someone who said they knew what they were doing and didn't. Yes there are disposable people in every type of work.

Over and out
