Hello,
Costa Rica attorney, Steven Ferris, still practicing in Escazu, Costa Rica. His defunct company, Becca-Beagle, constructed to amass personal wealth with his partner Jack (aka John) Osborne, accepted money for title to a property that they had complete knowledge of not having ability to convey. They began accepting wire-transfers and deposit in 2004 for a condominium located at Flamingo Cove, Flamingo, Santa Cruz, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The unit number is now designated #3-18.
The condo was completed in August, 2009.
I am currently in possession although the bank had served an eviction in June of the year.

(See prior Ripoff Report on Steven Ferris) In 2013, the Tico Times was provided thorough information and extensive documentation for the purpose of the Tico Times investigating the multiple real estate frauds committed by Costa Rica attorney Steven Ferris Aguilar (still practicing).
Rather than investigate and expose the criminal activities of Ferris, the Tico Times has Ferris writing business articles for them. Apparently, it is somehow in the Tico Time's interest to expose the public to further harm from Ferris, than to sound the alarm against him.
One can draw one's own conclusions as to what confidential information regarding the fraud was, or was not, shared with Ferris by the Tico Times to the detriment of the victim.
Ferris has been ordered to stand trial in San Jose for Racketeering. Meanwhile, Ferris is also on the Tico Times "parent company's" Board of Directors.
