Starpoint Resort/ aka Geo Holiday Still ripping people off today! Las Vegas Nevada
We sat through the sales pitch at Geo Holiday as we have other time share places, and thought this one had to be the best we had ever heard of. We were given so many "free" gifts for buying and signed up for auto pay so we wouldn't be bothered with the bills every month.
As soon as we attempted to use one of the "free" vacations we were dismayed to find we had to jump through hoops just to try to make the reservations, then had to send deposits in for the "free" trip, and then they made it almost impossible to find dates that would work for us...finally thought we had it all together to find out we have to sit through another time share sales pitch to get the vacation we won for going to the time share sales pitch!
Then we start to get calls from collection agencies! You have the wrong person I told them...we are signed up for auto pay. They explained that didn't apply to the maintenance fee...so we needed to pay that now (never mind we were told it wasn't due for 6 more months and we never received a notice...just collection calls!)
Well, we jumped through those hoops also and paid the maintenance fees over the phone with our credit card...now today I get payment books in the mail for the payments (remember the ones on auto pay)...that now are past due because they never used the auto pay.
We would never recommend anyone doing business with this company. I am all in favor of a class action law suit against them!
