Mark, You have cleverly changed the subject, haven't you. This may not be about the late payments at all, but about the content of their conversations and agreements, if any made. Let's hold off on the judgements until we have the facts. This may be hard for you to understand, but certain things attach sentimental value. To express it does not indicate exploitation of those feelings, however uncomfortable you may be with that disclosure. As for the victim, please write to [email protected] and let me know when you contact the VA and who you contacted. Did you contact the Regional Office, and if so, which one? So you admit you were behind in rent. Also I assume there was a STANDARD LEASE AGREEMENT which gave the storage company the right to AUCTION off your contents for NON-PAYMENT. So all they did was exercise their right to be paid for services rendered. You have already admitted YOU WERE WRONG cause you were behind in payments. Then you want us to feel sorry for you by playing some sympathy angle with a AMERICAN FLAG. While I personally feel for your loss, you need to take responsibilty for your actions or NON-ACTION in this case. If you had PAID them or removed your belongings cause of your inability to afford this service, none of this would have happened. SORRY, But you were wrong & you need to take responsibility.
