Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We had bought a sofa, loveseat, chair and ottaman about 3 years ago. We also purchased the fabric protection plan with it. My Daughter had got Bananna's on the Loveseat and Sofa so I called and went through all the neccasary channles to have it cleaned. The technicians could'nt clean it because of the type of fabric it was.

So they had me do a "reselection " at a different store ince the original store had went out of business. They said take the original amount of the total price and thats what you go by. Stainsafe said they pay for new fabric protection, tax and delivery. (This process took about 4 months to complete) They never return calls!!

I picked out the new furniture called Stain Safe ans they said I had only filed a claim for one peice of furniture (Sofa) that I would have to file a new claim for the other peices. (The technician that came out took pictures of everything that I had a claim on. So in the mean time I told the rep (Stacey) to go ahead and order the Sofa and I would file a clain for the other peice. Well I couldnt file a new claim because you have only so many days after the accident to call them to open a new claim. (This process took about 4 months)

My darling daughter had gotten Oatmeal on my Loveseat, Chair and Ottamon. Immeadiatly I called to file a claim. about 2 months later a technician shows up not wanting to touch the fabric with his "Magical" cleaning solution so he takes a few pictures and off he went. 1 Month later I thought I would call to find out the statis on my Sofa that was already ordered and to see if they were going to replace the others peices as well.

About fifty calls later (Nobody returns calls there) I finally get incontact with the rep that handles all Seamons accounts. She told me that I had a set dollar amount to do my "reselection" and that dollar amount didn't match up to the dollar amount I paid for the furniture. They was $450 dollar difference. Stain safe said that I purchased the furniture as a "set" and there for was Cheaper. I have the original receipt that clearly states what I paid for each peice seperetly.

I faxed them over my receipt they were suppose to get in contact with me never did I had to call them about fifty more times and they told me to call Seamons about the amount on my receipt. The way Seamons imputed the furniture into the computer was The sofa one price, the love seat one price, chair, ottoman, etc, one price and they charged me for the tables which where clearly showed N/C beside them. SO I faought with them for a few months.

I funally said the hell with the $450 I will take my loss I just want my furniture. I called Stain safe again to see if they orderd my love seat from one year ago and they still have not gotten back to me. They gave I paid over $2,319.00 for my furniture and they are only letting me do a "reselection" for $1,800.00. I have to pay for Tax, Fabric protection, and delivery. I asked them to just give me back my $$ and they said we don't do that because they buy the furniture a wholesell.

I called they furniture store that I did my "reselection" at and gues what the furniture that I selected has gone up in price. I have calledStain Safe and asked to speak with the President of the Company, left messages for numerious people to give me a call on this matter and nobody till this day has call me regarding this situation. If I need to get an answer I have to call the 800 stay holding on the line for aleast 30 mins (NO Joke)This is over one year and I still haven;t got anthing accomplished.

I had paid good money for fabric protection and have gooten nothing but head aches. Everything they promise never comes through. This company is a nightmere to deal with. Nobody knows nothing. They don't even have a contract defining what they warranty/poilices/procedures, etc. I guess since this was a fly by night company it wouldn't Huh? I soo fustrated I'm ready to just hand it over to my attorney and let him deal with it. If anyone buys furniture and buys the Fabric protection, BEWARE!! Stainsafe is a Scam!!

I purchased a couch 12/4/01 and got the warranty. I discovered 9/9/02 that the leather under the arm was splitting from the seam!!! I immediately filed a claim. I submitted ALL my information and then they kept sending me letters over 7 months telling me they needed a original copy of the invoice (which they were suppose to get directly from the furniture company) but I sent them my copy from the very beginning. No one ever called back you would stay on the line for 45 minutes at a time waiting to talk to a representative and sometimes the phone would hang up on you! It took them 8 months to send someone out to look at it in which the assesor said that yes its defective and they need to replace it. No response after that then in July 3,2003 they sent me a letter saying they weren't covering it because under their warranty I didn't report it in a timely manner. I was SO IRRATE that I went off on the customer service representative, the supervisor and I ask fo the VP of operations but failed to be connected to Mr. Costick. THe owner Robert Sayre needs to be sued!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This made me so irrate that I felt like I was going to give myself a heart attack.....so I HAD TO LEAVE THIS ALONE until now because the company is a fraud!
