In June my wife and I were looking online to buy a SUV for us and our growing family.
We found a Mercedes Benz gl 450 on car gurus for sale by Atlanta Motor Group at around $23,000. That was the best price we saw on line , so we call the dealer and spoke with Stacey Shefton to meet and view the vehicle at Bahama breeze restaurant off pleasant hill rd.
Before I left Stacey Shefton he inform me that he and his partner Lamont brooks and josh graham are looking for someone with good credit to buy and lease cars and then sell them for a profit. He said he work with most of the dealers in Georgia to buy cars at the auction. and he was buying 10 to 20 cars per week and was making $300 to $500 on each vehicle and also when you rent them out you can make $200 to $400 per rental day.
So we schedule meet and test drive again with my wife, at his partners business Lamont Brooks and Joshua Graham of Atlanta Xotic Rentals. At 1710 Wilwat Dr.
Before we left they showed us there operation of renting luxury cars for weddings, video for celebrities etc. They had Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bentley, Maserati, BMW, etc. We was impressed never seen so much luxury cars in one place, the thought that we can make some money by them renting the cars and promise of them taking care of the monthly payments seem like a great business opportunity and no risk. they told us that our credit would never be impacted because the cars was going to be under their business name and that they were only using my wife credit score and it does not go to the credit unions. , because its under a business it will report to Duns and Bradstreet and my wife credit and score will never be at risk. BUT THAT WAS LIE, BILL COLLECTORS CALL US EVERYDAY FOR THE CARS THESE CRIMINALS HAVE STOLEN AND TELL US ABOUT THE DELINQUENCIES. UNFORGIVABLE.
We applied for 3 cars, and they said we can get our lawyers to draw up paperwork's to authorize them to rent the car and pay us 40% of the rental proceeds. And the make sure everything is legal and legit.
We also asked when are going to get the tags license plate for the Mercedes benz, Stacey shefton said they will send in the mail in a couple weeks. Which we waited and Waited.
A week after July 4th holiday we met up to sign for a jaguar with Stacy Shefton at HENNESSY jaguar 3423 Old norcross rd Duluth GA 30096. My wife signed for the car, a 2016 Jaguar F type Base Coupe the car was not there, we never saw the car we never touched the car the dealers said it was being shipped soon. The price was around $70,000+ we did not receive any paperwork's or payment slip, we ask for copy of forms Stacey Shefton he say we will get it soon. And that Atlanta Xotic Rental will get the car and start renting it out.
A week later we went and sign for 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at Rick Hendricks Chevrolet Of Buford, This car we saw , we never receive any paper works or payment forms we never drove the car, my wife and I only took a couple pictures with the car. and felt very proud that we were on our way to make money in the car business. But it was too good to be true.
In less than a week we went to maxie Chevrolet from what we heard we thought we was going to sign for a Maserati, when my wife and Stacey Shefton came out,
When they came our from signing I ask where is the Maserati I don't see it, Stacey responded we are getting the Chevy silverado pick up truck (Red Flag) I said this was not part of the plan.

So my mind jumped into investigative mode, because this a next red flag, we thought these guys had their business plan together and they what they are doing. We reached out to Stacey Shefton to inform him that our banks have not received title, he said its a third party title and that it should come shortly, I did not wait and right away contacted the 3 different third party title firm he say the title was with, he lied again it was not with any of those title company and they never had the Benz in their system or Stacey Shefton car business.

From that point we know for sure we have been scammed and part of a car theft ring and our life might in danger because it seem that we are dealing with a criminal enterprise.
We called Stacey Shefton about the lies and ye started to yell and scream that the tile is some where else. We told that we don't want to be apart of this business because Stacey Shefton is lieing and a fraudster. I asked him what did he do with the money and that he needs to pay the banks and us back our money and take back the Benz because he cant produce title for the Benz.
So he say he will pay Georgia credit union there money and pay us back within a week. That was a lie, he then started to say whoever he pay the money to, he would have to wait for them to refund the $25,000.
So he said he and his brother owns a home free and clear in conyers GA and they are going to take out a $25,000 loan on a house they own free and clear and they would be able to pay the banks back in a week. When it was time to pay the banks we called he never answer his phone again. and never return our phone calls.
I just text him many many time s to return the money for the Benz and bring back the jaguar Chevy and silverdao to the dealers. I have proof of this on my phone text and I also recorded him stating talking and saying everything he would do but all turn out to be lies.
At same time Informed Lamont Brooks and Joshua Graham of Atlanta xotic rentals of the situation and to return the corvette to the dealer, because has turned out to be theft by deception and fraud. They said that they are making money with the car they are not giving it back, and that is considered stealing of the corvette. Again they dodge us and my wife never signed anything or authorize them to use the car.
Lamont Brooks and Josh and Stacey Shefton were all in cahoots to steal the cars from us. And never make payments. They just lied about everything We also have recording of Lamont and Josh lieing. About everything.
The way things were going I started to research their names on Google. and come to find out that Stacey Shefton was convicted of a $700,000+ mortgage fraud scam, theft by deception, identity theft and almost a dozen mugshots on Google.
My heart dropped and I could not breathe, we are dealing with criminals, my kids, my wife was around criminals how could this happen. We also found out he does not have a dealership nor a dealer license to sell cars. It was all lies and a scam.
Lamont Brooks have been arrested for car related crimes,

The jaguar was acquired for $70,000 for the jaguar. So Our thought was how is he trying to sell the jaguar for $50,000 pocket the money and leave the buyer without title like he did to us. The dealer say call the police right away. This was a scary situation what am going tell my wife and they will destroy her credit. I reached out to him return the corvette and jaguar car to the dealer multiples times on phone and on my phone records, Then he say that he put the car in storage and send picture. Once I found out where the public storage was I went there and told them that they have a stolen car from Stacey Shefton in their storage spoke with the manager and she said that he has a inside storage their, but not the size for a car. Again he lied and he has stolen the car. I tried to call and text and he will not respond.
I said you need to sell these cars and get them out my wife name and that we don't want to be apart of your scam since we find out about his criminal and fraudulent pass.
We started to notice letters from a hand ful of banks that some one was trying to take out other cars in my wife name That we did not authorize. So we call esperian to freeze her credit from identity theft.
He said he as a buyer for the car and once they get the tags they will be able to sell the car and it will be out of my wife name. I was hoping he was telling the truth but he was lieing all the way.
He was lieing and using other dealerships address as his own and show as backdrop to sell cars , but he was lieing and doing scams. He does not own any dealerships
We then Informed Lamont and Josh to sell the Chevy corvette or take back to the dealer because this is a ponzi scheme and scam, and the whole time we was suppose to sign forms to authorize the rental of car but Lamont kept on making excuses so that they did not have to pay us any thing, We did not receive 1 red cent from these guys, nothing.
They just rented the car and made all the money. When I tell time and time again the this is Theft by deception and that they need to return car we don't want to be a part of this scam, lamont and josh turn around and try to extort money from us for them to give back car.

On the 20th of September Stacey shefton was suppose to bring the money to the bank Stacey shefton stopped taking my calls, he took down his Atlanta motor group website and disconnected his business phone. Its now September 29 and he have not called back and we don't know what he did with the jaguar, I leave text and message that the tag came in and that he will be able to sell the car, but I have not heard anything from him. We also found out that he did not make payments on the jaguar and the corvette and Lamont and Joshua have not made payments on the corvette and they are delinquent in payments. They destroy my wife credit, that took her whole life to build up. And mess her up to get any any jobs in the health care field.
Again I call for Lamont and Joshua to return the car sell it are buy it I went to their office and they did not listen to return the car that they and Stacey shefton has stolen car in their possession. They did not listen that the cars are reported stolen to the FBI and Gwinnett County Police Department. Joshua was armed with a gun so I decide not go up their office again because josh say he is going to get back in his old ways, I have wife and kids and I don't want to put us in a hostile situation where they try to shoot us.

We never took money from them, we never received money from them and they see the hardship and hellish nightmare my wife are going through as for as $25,000 stolen and not title for Benz, jaguar is just sitting some where out there in so called public storage, I checked and found out it was not there , he just took picture, to make us think he parked it so he Stacey Shefton can steal it and do whatever he does with the cars.
On the 20th of September Stacey shefton was suppose to bring the money to the bank Stacey shefton stopped taking my calls, he took down his Atlanta motor group website and disconnected his business phone. Its now September 29 and he have not called back and we don't know what he did with the jaguar, I leave text and message that the tag came in and that he will be able to sell the car, but I have not heard anything from him. We also found out that he did not make payments on the jaguar and the corvette and Lamont and Joshua have not made payments on the corvette and they are delinquent in payments. They destroy my wife credit, that took her whole life to build up. And mess her up to get any any jobs in the health care field.
Again I call for Lamont and Joshua to return the car sell it are buy it I went to their office and they did not listen to return the car that they and Stacey shefton has stolen car in their possession. They did not listen that the cars are reported stolen to the FBI and Gwinnett County Police Department. Joshua was armed with a gun so I decide not go up their office again because josh say he is going to get back in his old ways, I have wife and kids and I don't want to put us in a hostile situation where they try to shoot us.
So I try to text and call them to return car like the District Attorney say I have the right to do, but they say law enforcement cannot do anything to them.
As it is right now where are out of $25,000 no title and cannot drive the car The Chevrolet and the jaguars are stolen. We are stressed and scared some one is going to break in our house and shoot us. We need help, please let us know what can we do.
Everyday this situation plague our mind it is hard to think about anything else, I am constantly looking out the window thinking someone is going to shoot or attack our family. We are victims to these crimes, we are just a family trying to give our kids a good life. We dont want to be involved in any thing illegal,
