Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This is a formal letter I sent to Sprint PCS 2009:

---
To whom this may concern:

Not my Account!

Requested Information from Sprint:
Customer Name: Never a customer
Wireless Telephone number: Never had telephone number
Account Number: Never had an account number
PIN: Never had a PIN

I never had a Sprint Account. I never have, do not currently have, and never will have an account with Sprint. I did not authorize anyone person or company to open this account.

I demand the following:
To see any communication used in the processing of this dispute.
That all communication be in writing - no phone calls.
To see something with my signature on it that created the alleged debt.
A full itemization of all charges and a full account history.
To see proof that you are legally entitled to collect on said debt and that you are licensed in my state to do debt collections.

Now, as I understand, until this debt is properly validated, all collection efforts must cease.
I will send a letter to the collection agency(s) that is involved. I will also send a letter to all Credit Bureaus.

I Never had a Sprint Account

I do not, never have, and now never will have an account with Sprint. The only cell phone accounts I have had is with Quest, AT&T, then Verizon which all have treated me fairly.

In 2006 a collection agency (Diversified) mailed me a bill for ~$860.00 regarding a Sprint account. I called the agency and was greeted by a representative that was incredibly rude, unreasonable, very demanding, and accusatory. The representative stated that I made this account at a Radio Shack store in Colorado at 09:00 P.M. in 2004 and that they have been trying to contact me for many years. I have never been in Colorado, do not have any relatives or friends there, do not know anyone there, never purchased a cell phone account at Radio Shack.... I moved from Oregon to Arizona in 2003 and immediately made a change of address with the post office and received a new drivers license at the Motor Vehicle Division. The should have been able to easily locate me with a simple search.

The collection agency continues to make phone calls to my Verizon cell phone and ask for payment to the account. I always state that I will not pay on an account that I did not create. Sprint continues to refuse to help me solve this problem. They have mail me forms to fill out with information regarding this case. I filled them out to the best of my knowledge and sent them back certified mail, return receipt requested. I have repeated this action three times without any results and without any comments from the company.

I thought that this problem would have a statue of limitation. So, after many attempts to solve this problem I gave up trying and thought someday it would go away. Later, I tried to make a big purchase and was refuse due to a bad credit report. I discovered that Sprint and their collection agencies can continue to make harassing phone calls and continue to ding my credit score forever - there is no statute of limitation on it.

I am not a fighter, so I still feel like giving up but do not know how this will effect my future.
