Complaint Review: spokane city police - spokane Washington

i have the pleasure of living exactly half way between two run down, unkept, possible drug houses, the occupants of these palaces have spent their days and nights for the last ten days doing nothing except walking back and forth in crowds of up to 18 people, adults and teens. i have been pushed to the ground, my daughters 12 year old friend has been hit by two of them as well as my teen daughter as slammed against their van on two occasions. i have had the police here on 5 different days, i am told to stay in my house and not come out because this is a free country and they can say anything they want as long as it remains on the sidewalk....

well, my family has lost all our freedom, i cant open my door, do my yard work or sit outside without a constant stream of these losers swearing, screaming, sitting out in their vans glaring at my children or video taping us telling them to go home....

my neighbors must think i am some kind of trouble magnet all of a sudden...this would make so much more sense to me if i had a clue one as to who they are and why my family are their victims.

i am a single mom of 4 i have had 4 foster children over the last several years, as well as being a full time student for the last 3 years trying to complete my RN degree. i keep a nice house/yard and have never had any trouble in the entire 15 years i have lived in this neighborhood. (story is more detailed, but out of room)they are growing more angry and the polie department does not seem to care, the officers have changed from being civil to rude and mocking...they refuse to take a harrassment complaint and i am at a loss at what to do !!! i have no legal recourse to stop this without restraining orders...funny thing is the nice officers say it is my job to come up with all their names and addresses to serve these and of course they advise against it because they say this type of crowd likes to retaliate .....

i do hate to stereotype, but by the looks of this batch of thugs, the parents are possibly blood relatives that are in major need of a good dentist, hot shower and a haircut....

i am not sure where they stole the video camera from, maybe took it in trade....i do not seem to fit in with them since i do not have non running cars all over my yard, no furniture stacked on my porch and i have a lawn, job and a good heart. i have phoned the police more times in the last two weeks than i knew possible, my brother is an officer in seattle, and at one time i would have loved to be one myself !!

i have always taught my children to respect the police, and have scolded any child that calls them "pigs" (etc.) now i wonder if i have been living wrong, how is it the scum bags have more rights than i do , why am i treated rudely for wanting to be able to go into my own yard, these people come to my home to terrorize me, yet the police treat me as the bad guy....is that why there is so much meth in spokane county, are the police there to protect and serve the public or to bend over backwards to help out the cookers????????????
