Took my car in for an inspection and was told it did not pass because my brake pads were worn down and rubbing rotors.  I left and took my car directly to my mechanic to have the pads replaced and he informed me the pads still had 3/4 of their life left and they did not need to be replaced.  I swore in the past that I would never go back to this company because they pulled this garbage before, but on this day they were close and I knew not to fall for their "Mam, your car needs a flush and a fuel injection cleaning, blah, blah, blah".  Oh, they did try!  They wasted my time, my machanic's time and the gas it took the drive across town and then back again.  The person who did my inspection was the owner's son "THE MANAGER", imagine that!  I will say the person that help me when I went back was very understanding and passed my car with no problem.  Someone should shop this company (preferably a women) and I am 100% sure they will have no problem seeing how this company will make up issues in order to get extra business ($) from nice people.

As the manager of speedee on south blvd i completely understand the fustration of customers not passing state inspection due to DMV regulations. it is very unfortunate that]this customer feels that something was not done correctly. As a shop and as a family owned and opperated business we take pride in our work

As state inspector i am obligated to inspect all vehicles by DMV standards and inform the customer of my inspection. Under no circumstances is there any customer obligated to perform the worked needed to pass the inspection at this shop. with all due respect i feel this customers fustration about this incident is unfounded.. it is unfortunate that this customer needed wrok done to the car, I asure you that in past 4 yers that wee owned apporited this shop we have done anything and everything to the best of our knowledge to run this place as best as we are exspected leglay and morley
