On 8-8-18 Christian Miller: Senior Moving Consultant Spartan Van Lines 1-866-251-5003 Ext. 203, gave me a quote of $1,645.00. I got a call from Todd James: Senior Moving Consultant Spartan Van Lines 1-866-251-5003 Ext.on 8-22-18 who then informed me that the price is now $2,600.00 two days before pick up of the moving date. On 8-24-18 the movers, (no doubt using illegal russians from Illinois) arrive and the charge was then $3,657.21 contact info (929)301-7431. The movers who delivered my belongings ten days later after 11pm on Sunday night,(two men I have never seen before) insisting I have $600.00 cash ready for them. They started to bring in things I never seen before in my life, a red suede suitcase and table legs to furniture I do not own (still in my posession). The two movers were very rude and ornery and apon leaving said "next time higher better movers". It wasn't until the next day Monday that I realized after unpacking that my Dell laptop computer is missing, the next day and filed a police report about my missing laptop. I am making this complaint because I would like to be reimbursed in Full. I feel that they have taken advantage of me and also robbed me, not just the missing computer but they know how hard it is to move over 2000 miles and took me for everything I had and the missing laptop is just insult to injury. Not only this but now having changed my sheets it looks as though I may have accumulated bedbugs from wherever storage my things sat at for the 9 days I awaited for the delivery of my property. I also want to see them have a strike against them so other do not have to suffer the same result I have. Also I still have these table legs to whom I'm sure they would like returned.
