The Complaint: Non-Payment for goods and services rendered.

Complaint History and Background Information - A Good Day at The Spa, Gone Bad! Soluna Med Spa Rips Off Vendors and Local Miami Marketing Group.

Alan Khoriaty solicited local Miami businesses to help launch his Med Spa with Marketing, Public Relations, and consulting services. All of these services were rendered properly and without any issue, and all goods were delivered on time. Printed materials (which have an out-of-pocket cost) and consulting hours spent in the grand opening and launch of the Medical Spa. The total cost of these services (with the one vendor we communicated with) was over $10,000.

The Spa owner Alan Khoriaty passed a bad check to the vendor, which as we later learned, has caused the vendor to experience a disastrous financial domino effect, almost putting the vendor out of business! Instead of suing the spa immediately, the vendor gave (then Radiance Med Spa) the benefit of the doubt, and accepted a payment plan offered directly by Alan Khoriaty.

The word here is that Alan promised over and over to make good on his outstanding balances, and made only a couple of payments to the vendor. Months passed and he would drop off the radar completely, not answering phone calls or replying to emails, he failed to make any following payments and continued to operate his business in the pricey Coral Gables shopping district without paying his bills to this vendor.

Many months later, when he eventually picked up his phone (call was made from a different local number he didn't recognize), he apologized profusely, crying poor. Alan Khoriaty complained that he was losing money at the spa, and that he wasn't able to make any payments to anyone, but at the same time, was driving a new mercedes benz and his business was flourishing. He even said to the vendor on the phone "hey, I hope you don't think I'm tring to Scam you, or pull a 'Scum Bag' move on you.. I'm gonna pay you and I know that I owe you this money."

When the vendor asked why he hadn't been responsive for almost 6 months, he replied that "I've been traveling a lot." (so,..he has money to travel, but couldn't make a $500 minimum monthly payment to a small business operator that was counting on that payment to make ends meet?) What a scum bag! Alan Khoriaty is a prime example of a New York transplant to Miami, who brought his shifty and oil-slick business practices with him, and has lied to anyone he feels he can deceive to get ahead. This is one example of why people don't like to do business in Miami, because of rip-off artists like Alan Khoriaty at the Soluna Aesthetic Vein and Lipo Center in Coral Gables, Florida.

Later, under the threat of having this story made public, he made $1000 in payments, still leaving a large balance unpaid, the marketing group is still struggling to pay back their vendors and repair their internal relationships; some of whom have been permanently burned or badly damaged because of this chain of events. As you can see, the unethical practices and bad business principals of one company can have a BIG impact on many others. The lies and deceit of one company who chooses not to pay their bills, and leaves another company hanging out in the business breeze to be ruined, is why people like Alan Khoriaty and the Soluna Aesthetic Vein and Lipo Center located in The Villages of Merrick Park is a Spa to avoid at all costs.

If you are a business, don't work with them. If you are a consumer looking for spa services, look somewhere else! By doing business with Alan Khoriaty and the Soluna Spa, you are working with an individual who is not trustworthy, someone you don't want to give your credit card to, or otherwise support! The scammy practices of Alan and the Soluna Med Spa really show what kind of company they are, and why you shouldn't do business with them.

The message here is that if this is how they treat people who've worked hard for them, imagine how poorly they will treat you if you don't like your treatment! Would they charge you anyways? Probably, but they still won't pay people that provided services for them.

So we're clear - Don't Do Business with The Soluna Aesthetic Center, Med Spa at 4251 Salzedo Street in Coral Gables, FL. Don't Do Business with Alan Khoriaty.

Wow, I don't know how that lady got pissed off, but you know Soluna Medical Spa is a place where Miami's wealthiest patrons go to get liposuction and other cosmetic procedures, and we have to pay in cash or credit up front. And yeah, um, I payed more for an hour of liposuction than what this person claims they owe, so I'm guessing that this person has some other motive for writing this article. Who knows. Just my thoughts on the matter.

As of today, I am happy to report that Alan Khoriaty and the spa are making good on their promises. They recognized miscommunication and have taken Big steps to resolve this dispute. We feel that they are acting in a responsible and professional manner and are making strides to repair the business relationship. We're looking forward to doing good business with them again.

First this report was submitted without my knowledge and authorization. I have entered into a verbal agreement with the spa owner Alan Khoriaty to pay off any outstanding balances to my company. I do not support this type of resolution to any matter. While it may work for some, it does not work for me. The Soluna Med Spa and it's employees are proper with thier practices as I, myself, would receive treatments there should I wish to. This response is short because there is one bottom line - Alan and I are in agreement to settle this situation from over a year ago. Soluna Med Spa is an otherwise reputable place to have medical spa treatments performed. This was a dispute between 2 people that went beyond what I (the vendor) had ever wished for it to go.
