Channels and packages aren't correct on the website, then when you call to ask, they charge you more if you want more channels.  Very deceiving!  SlingTV says you can "choose what you want to watch".  Of course you can't pick each and every channel, but they have 3 packages:  Orange, Blue and Orange with Blue, which is a combo of the first two.  The price for the combo goes up of course but still cheaper than satellite.  The problem is, the buffering and freezing of the channels which happened the very first night.  I started with the Blue package then saw it was missing 2 channels we really liked, so we went up to the Orange with Blue. 

Then it had 1 channel that was missing, even though when you look on the website it lists the channels under each package, that does NOT mean it's in that package!!!  How is that legal or fair?  So if you want additional channels, that jumps your bill up $5 more a month, then if you want DVR capabilities, they charge you more for that.  When you complain about the freezing during live streaming they blame you for your internet speed, when my speed is clearly more than they say is "suggested".  Plus they charge more for HBO and Showtime than if you get it through Amazon.  So in the end, the commercials that say "get smaller packages of channels you like and pay less money" isn't true at all. 

And packages that "start at $20", that is nonsense, no one would buy those crappy channels.  My final monthly bill was almost $100 with all the extras I had to pay for and the channels and the DVR....and the picture still freezes and they blame YOUR internet speed.  Plus it freezes when watching recordings?  How is that?  I record so that I can skip through channels and it won't even let you do that!   You have to sign up for 2 months and if you cancel you do NOT get your money back.  I don't see how this company keeps customers.  I finally got rid of horrible Directv but don't get this Slingtv - they misrepresent the pricing and channels and the customer service line rarely has someone that you can understand.  Stay away and don't sign up for this service.
