Complaint Review: SIXT Denmark - Copenhagen Internet

Hi Sixt. I have a question. Are you head quartered in the potassium rich shadows of lush banana trees in a West African jungle? Because I swear I have seen these sort of scams in the past.

I was once contacted by an armless Congolese orphan. He told me that his parents had died on their chicken farm. It was the largest chicken farm in Africa. But in order to release his inheritance he required a bank account and some credit cards to buy some armless tshirts. He said he lost his arms driving a Sixt car ironically. So anyway, after providing him with my bank account, and credit card details. I came to realize s**t this is probably one of those scams.

But it was ok, my credit cards are maxed and my bank account only has enough to buy a happy meal from McDonalds. So I check my internet banking the next day, true to form, my last few dollars were taken. I slept well that night, until I abruptly woke to wonder whether he went with the burger option or chicken nuggets. I slept well again there after knowing I had fed a child in Africa for the night. I wonder if it was tax deductible? So anyway I contacted him again, I was dying to know, if it was the burger or chicken nuggets.

Silly me, of course being the son of chicken farmers he went with the nuggets, he went on to tell me about how his parents died. They were pecked to death by a group of 7 rogue chickens which had formed a gang in the darkest corner under some mango trees. The irony again when I realized this armless kid was typing me these emails by pecking his nose against the keyboard. Some talent. I felt bad for him, so I provided him with my password to www..midgetsgowildonspringbreak..com then I said goodbye and that was the end of that.

So how is this story similar to the situation I have just been through with your company. Well. I have been using your mini-lease service now for about 5 months. Unfortunately the car I ordered through Audi has been heavily delayed much to my despair now and regret. I returned the car on Tuesday. I asked if the guy would come and do the review of the car with me but he said no-one was available and not to worry that it will be fine. I left. I took the car through the car wash on Sunday. I vacuumed and wiped down the inside of the car on Saturday.

No it did not get returned in the state of a brand new car, but it was returned cleaned as well as possible and returned in the state of a 5 month old car. You charged me 1000dkk for cleaning??? 1250DKK (+25% tax) for a slight scratch on the alloy. This car had significant damage to it when I took over. I have not put a single scratch on this car, I made absolutely certain of that after the first car I rented from you and put a scratch on the alloy, I always parked the length of a pink furby from the pavement to make sure it would not occur again.

By the way how is it possible to justify 1250dkk (+25% tax) for a small scratch on the alloy of this Citroen (AK 13003) I rented when the entire alloy could be replaced for same? You also charged me 2812.50 (+25% tax) for the stonechip in the windshield even though I declared when taking up the mini lease that I would like to continue with the tire and windshield insurance? I have told your lease department to return the money by 26th March, in reply I just got 2 more emails with the same invoice details.

Further I live in Rungsted which is 30km from your office in the city. I have had to return the car 3 times at either your request or because its been faulty. I can see these 180km have not been deducted from the excess km I have been charged even though I told your lease department to take note of it. If we were to get technical I am also owed petrol money. Lets say the car has a range of 800km on 1 tank. The tank was about 55 litres. 1 litre of petrol costs about 11dkk. So I used about 12.5 litres for you. That is 137.5DKK. But do not worry I am no cheap b*****, so we will let this slide. I am however someone who doesn't appreciate getting scammed by an established multinational company.
