Complaint Review: Sherri Griffioen - Belding Michigan

this below is a copy of an email Thomas Griffioen sent based on a conversation he bullied and wouldn't let us even speak so how he got this out of anything we had said is besides me. which i did tell him we had given up waiting on getting our money back. we did we did not want our money he bullied and would not let us speak. as far as boo getting spayed she doesn't need spayed i am not an irresponsible breeder. she wears puppy panites and is constantly supervised. they are using the weasals way out of this by saying i never received a health gaurantee. when they screwed up from point A. Thomas Griffioen says he does not breed dogs and if he doesn't where did i get my 2 poms. Out of thin air? I can't imagine how those poor puppies are being taken care of in that kennel as mean and rude and as violent as he acted on the phone. My heart goes out to those poor babies. if boo was neglected how many others are sitting over there being neglected with other problems. that they choose to pass on to someone else because they just don't breed dogs but they have several sitting all the time in chinchilla cages. if you don't know what those look like i can send pics of what they look like. and the other female i got had no mussle mass my vet also thought they must never let the puppies out to run very often either. At this point i know i am not getting my money back. and ya know i can't do anything about that. but i hope that people will avoid every having to deal with anything like this. like i had too. i was told by his wife sherri when i told her i would let other people know what had happen to me if she didn't want to make this right " to stop with the threats" i feel if they can't make it right it is my right and my buty to make others aware of puppy mills. and to totally avoid it. in every way at all cost it is not worth it. because you put these mills out of business when you stop buying from them. you keep them going when you support them. -------------- BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! But, before I can continue to deal with the problem withBoo I need you to apologize for your threats.Sherri ------- the second email is from Thomas Griffioen bullying me, clearly shows he doesn't want to work with anyone but himself. not a nice man. no way to even talk with this man. very violent as well on the phone. he sure knowledged that he didn't not give me a health warrenty but not that he never from point A even took her too the vet. clearly shows that. as far as where i said i did not want the money i had said along with my husband told him we had given up even getting our money back. i did not say i wanted the spay done in the first place that way the only choice he gave us and said how it would be and would not let us talk at all he was very rude and just kept yelling. i also had to hang up on him for yelling at me. and then he just spoke so loud we didn't have any chance to talk or even work in any way anything. i have ended any further conversations with him. or his wife. this is just to much termoil than i care to deal with. he is a violent man over the phone and there is just no talking with these people. at all. they have to live with what they have done. not me. boo is happy here i will keep it that way. i just want people once again to avoid ever having to go through this sort of thing like i did. and even if i don't get my money back i hope people will think twice and very carefully when they by a puppy and from who. there are to many puppy mills out there and people can help stomp them out. by shutting them down. period!! This email is a follow up to our conversation on 3/30/08 at 6:30 pm inwhich I had offered, out of the goodness of our hearts to you the optionof one of the following choices to correct the current situtationregarding a female /white pomeranian you had purchased from us on 1/19/08for $500.00 with no stated, implied or written guarantees or warrantiesto its condition or future potential. your choices were as follows- to pick one only- 1. Return the dog to us for a full refund of your purchase price of $500.00-or- 2. Schedule a spaying operation with your Veterinarian Dr. Osbech and wewould pay him directly his $90.00 fee and you could keep the dog with nofurther payment from us. At this time you both have stated that you want to keep the dog, do notwant to have the spaying operation done and according to my finalcoversation with Kristie Jackson " I don't want any money." From this conversation I have come to the conclusion that you do not wantto return the dog, do not want to have the spaying operation done and donot want a refund of your money as offered above. on 03/30/08 @ 7:04 P.M. Thomas Griffioen contacted me in a very rude manner and stated he gave me 2 choices and wouldn't even let me speak he was loud and Obnoxious,would be willing to take the dog back and give me my money back or he would pay for her to be spayed. even after that he would not let me speak he was still loud and rude. after i tried to speak he got louder. I handed the phone to my husband and as i was not going to tolerate that disrepect from anyone calling my house. He then continued to tell my husband he did not breed dogs. However i did by 2 of them from him. and I have pics of the many dogs they breed in cages. in many colors. after my husband said that he is not willing to give the dog back he wanted the money back he then called us an extortionist because we were willing to let him pay for the spayed on boo but we are also out the money for breeding her. and she is like family after all this time that has passed by. we had given up on any idea of getting any money back at this point. they have stalled and avoided the situation for a while now and she is my baby. she is like one of my kids. I told Thomas Griffioen after i hung up on it because he was very loud and rude and he called back. i told him at that I either want my money back or not at all, I at this point know that these people are not willing to do what is right for the dog. they are just in it for the money. if they weren't it wouldn't be so hard to make it right with the whole thing. if Thomas Griffioen paid just for the spayed to be done i told him my vet said she could die on the operating table. that she has more of a chance dieing on the table then a puppy that has not heart problem. Which still puts me out the money to breed her and she is my family i can't just give her back to them after they neglected her health from the beginning. Thomas Griffioen said that they never gave us a health gaurantee on there dogs. So what they are saying "your Bad" which in any case being a good breeder who looks out for the dog not the money would have done the right thing from the very begining. instead Thomas Griffioen pulled "well you didn't get a health gaurantee from us so this is what we won't do for you. He then said he was taping our conversation long after he was yelling about how babyish & cute my website looked and how i treat all my dogs like babies. like they are my kids or something. "are you kidding me?" yes i do. maybe to alot of other people they are just dogs but they are just dogs to me. they are my family my babies. and i take very good care of my dogs. i thought and didn't say Thomas Griffioen do you even know how you sound? yelling at me for something like that. I do love my poms they are my life and my babies. PERIOD!! maybe they aren't to them. but they are to me. I told Thomas Griffioen when i had called me back and he hung up on me because he wouldn't even let me speak i called him back to let him know what i will do. and he hung up immediately. i then attempted one more time. and he did seem as though for about 2 seconds he would listen. I then continued to tell him even after he started to raise his voice that. 1 i am keeping the dog. and i want my money back. or not. at this point i had figured they weren't going to do the right thing and i will just let people know what has happen to me in this situation and help others avoid ever having to go through anything like this like i did. it is very heart renching when you buy a puppy and it becomes a part of the family. i can't just throw it back without a heart. boo will continue to live here and be a part of this family and be taken care of as a part of this family for as long as she lives. they have to live with what they do and how they do it. and sleep on that one. however i can too. she is very happy here and loved and i will continue to love her as long as i can. there is no arguement there. period. the whole family loves her. I just know i would never do anything like this to anyone. ever! I am not just a breeder i am a pom mom. and i love what i do. I think it is a shame people actually act this way. and i know i would never in my heart do anything like that. all i can say is if you plan on getting a pom from anyone please make sure that the breeder you buy it from takes it to the vet prior to sale and has proof they did. never buy a dog without written gaurantee. which i can honestly say that was my mistake. but that shouldn't excuse people from ever doing what is right. if they have a heart no written gaurantee is needed to always do the right thing in life. a pom breeder only in it for the money won't have a written gaurantee. they will use that as an excuse to not have to do what is right. so please be careful out there. it's not worth the heartache. in the end. like Thomas Griffioen said if she is to die on the operating table that would be my choice. How sad that dogs are just dogs to people. maybe if there weren't people out there like that there wouldn't be as many puppy mills as there are now. (SICKNING ISN'T IT?) well i have boo and that is fine. i'm fine with that. she's a cutie and a little kissyfur. I feel i am doing the right thing by not giving her back to the people who neglected her health in the first place. and that won't happen again. she is my baby now. and with me she is taken care of. and that i know and i can sleep on. kristie
