SHERIDAN LABS INC - EQUINOX Credit card fraud - product rip off Internet
As per every other complaint regarding this company, I too have been ripped off.
They advertised on facebook (do your due diligence fb) for free samples - you just had to pay postage and packaging. As a woman of a certain age, I got sucked in by their advertising spiel and what seemed genuine information on the efficiacy of their product and signed up, when normally I would avoid these like the plague (defeated by my own vanity)
What first alarmed me was that I didn't get a confirmation email saying I'd made the order.
Then weeks passed and nothing arrived, and I more or less forgot about it thinking it had only cost me about £7 for my foolishness.
Luckily for me Barclaycard contacted me querying an attempted transaction against my card and on looking at the December statement which had just arrived we discovered that Equinox and another company had been busy taking money from me in chunks of around £90 a time to the tune of £287 (ignoring the one for £95.95 that Barclaycard had thankfully blocked).
I finally received a jar of cream this week, but it is just a jar of ordinary cream with no special ingredients in it whatsoever.
They have emailed me today to say another jar is on its way (which is the first time they have notified me).
I shall be completing a fraud report form for Barclaycard and now I have a customer support email address I have written back to them telling them what I've done and asking them to stop all future deliveries and that their charges to me will be blocked by Barclaycard going forward.
