Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
After being confronted in the mall with a friend by a young man claiming he was selling magazine subscriptions to help win a trip to some exotic place, I decided that $30 was a pretty good price to pay for a magazine subscription.

I have been scammed before so I was very weary before I signed anything. He assured me that the reciept he was giving me was more then enough proof, and that if I didn't recieve my magazine in 4-6 weeks I could use the information on the magazine to get a full refund.

I was about to get married so figured that after the wedding if I hadn't recieved them I would contact the company. Sure enough 3 months later I still had not recieved it. The first place I looked was on the reciept where he had shown me the phone number to call them. Apparently the phone number was only on the top sheet of the carbon copy because all I am left with is an address. I called information on the phone and they have no records of a Services Ulimited Plus. So I turned to the internet which led me to this sight, one of only two that came up with my search. I suppose $30 is not much to have to eat, but it makes me very frustrated that I am stuck with no place to turn even if I still wanted my magazine.

This may be a change in procedure based on past problems, but this company now has it's phone number on the receipts left for people who order magazines. This number is on all copies of the reciept and is left for your information. I personally called the number to check it out, and on the second ring was greeted by a friendly gal who promptly and accurrately identified herself and the company name. that number is 1-800-536-4704. She said that due to the salespeople being independent contractors and not directly controlled by the company during the fund raisers, they have had a problem with the anticipated delivery time being understated and that subscriptees need to anticipate that it may take as much a 120 days to recieve their first magazine, depending on which magazines they order. They also said that they hold all checks for 2(two)weeks to allow for a "cooling off" period in case people change their minds about their order and that they do refund money beyond the 3(three)days that is stated on the receipt. Again, the number I called was 1-800-536-4704 Check them out, I thought they seemed legit enough when I contacted them.
