 On several occasions I have requested their plumbing services. They either showed up late or not at All and only reach out to the customer at the end of the scheduled appointment time slot to tell you they are not coming. I do not know if the plumbers are licensed and have passed the State exam or work as independent contractors under the employer’s umbrella. In either case they do not know their trade or assume if they lie to you as to the nature of you plumbing problem you woulden’t be any the wiser.

They will blame anyone or thing like the weather rather than provide competent work. They arrive without tools, or the appropriate tool or parts. They refuse to redo work previously done incorrectly. When you call to schedule a service call out the staff enquirers AS to the nature of the problem. This is not coveyrd to the tech before the come out— Then why ask the customer when they call in for help? They give you a quote for non service policy work that is out out ragiously high in price with Long lead return visit time. Example: boiler went. They came out in two days. Quoted over $ 900,00 and I would have to wait 4-6 days until they could aquire replacement hot water heater and come out to install. I called local plumber, replaced the heater with same model Rheem, installed new, took away old, changed to ball valves .

All done next day for — GET THIS $620.00. Ordering parts: they actually lied about ordering new kitchen faucet set from American Standard. They said after two weeks it was on back order. I called American Standard—10 sets in the parts dept, no record of ANY ORDER from Service America currently pending. I bought the parts received said parts and then Setvice America came out to install. GUESS WHAT : THE PLUMBER asked me for tools he needed to do the job. Guess I am lucky that I, having been in the construction industry, had the tools he needed. Never will I spend my hard earned money for indifferent, sloppy, incompetent work. WOULD YOU!

STAND UP FOR YOUSELF Too often we accept what others tell us as knowledgeable, informed. The truth is a great deal of information we receive daily is inacccurate due to the other person’s un willingness to get the facts right or to side step their responsibilities, leaving you, the customer, holding the bag. Once you turn your hard earned money over to others it becomes theirs and your IMMEDIATE rights are cut off. Now you have to , at you time and expense, persue a hopefully positive outcome. As they say in Latin, “NIL ILLIGITIMI CARBERUNDIUM” STAND BY YOU GUNS, DON’T LET THE BASTARDS KEEP YOU DOWN” Good luck with your next service adventure
