Bought Catnapper lift recliner with heat/massage from Boston's in Erie, PA; delivered on 1/31/2018. Started making unusual crunching sounds on & off in mid March (about 6weeks), on next trip to Boscovs checked demo chair of identical type, ran smooth, no crunching. Right after the heat went out, so in mid April I Called Boscovs warranty number & was contacted by Serveco, they set up appointment for May 5th with their repair service. Josh came on 5/5, said crunching could be bent frame, or splintered wood piece. No heat could be too much wired together, or not enough clips, or hand control? He said they would call in 3-4 days, waited 8 days, had to call Serveco, was told "On you could have called Us, we're still investigating it, we'll call you back". Got call back 3-5 days later that Josh didn't take picture of a needed hang tag on chair & would have to come back.

On June 21st Josh came to retake pictures of hangtags. Had to call them again to see what was going on: said they would order parts to be sent here & when they arrive to call them to set up appointment for Josh to install them. Parts came in July & they couldn't have Josh come back till Aug 14th!! That would make it over 4months so far with defective chair; an expensive chair that was bought new & went bad within 6 weeks. Josh came on 8/14, opened up box with chair parts & said on no, they only sent a heat pad & arm parts, not the main frame that was "probably" responsible for the crunching. I said I've had it, I'd just like to have the chair out of here, too many mistakes are being made. He said He'd have to send in his report & anything else was up to the warranty place. He put heat pad in anyways, said it worked.

After he left, I tried it, and Low/medium,/high were all the same & less then Low used to be & you could only feel heat when shoving hand in crack between seat & back. When it worked in February, I only could use hot 5-10 minutes, then had to turn down to medium or low which was plenty. So this pad is defective or placed wrong or maybe controll is bad? like He mentioned in May. I called Serveco after He left, asked to refund or replacement.I told them they were paying more for 4 service calls from Josh & trying to rebuild the chair from the ground up, rather than to refund or replace; as I can't keep setting these days aside for useless service calls with no results in 4 months. Haven't heard back as of Sunday August 19th.
