This one is pretty simple. I recieved a letter dated July 25th, 2013 stating that Securus Payments will be amending my merchant agreement to include penalty fees if I fail to perform, or depending on how they determine the out come of a PCI risk analysis.
My company decided it didn't like the change in terms and decided to cancel. And any change to an existing contract makes it null and void including rates, term, and early termination fees.
Only problem is that they would have none of that. We sent a certified registered letter dated prior to the cut off date stated in their letter. But they don't care. So we contacted our Local State Attorney Generals office for help.
