 I leased with the option to purchase a Kenmore microwave, stove, and refrigerator via Why Not Lease It from the Sears Outlet Store in Demember 2016. Last week the refrigerator went warm in the bottom of the refrigerator. The freezer had ice and frost in a frostlesd refrigerator. I called the Sears repair and they sent out a repairman, who performed a diagnostic and came to the conclusion that it was a used refrigerator and had been worked on. I contacted the Wheaton location and after holding on my phone for over 45 minutes, my husband called from his phone someone answered. This person put the manager on the line and he said it was nothing they could do about this refrigerator if I didn't purchase a warranty. I contacted WNLI and they said the same thing. I still had to pay for an appliance that no longer works after 4 months. This is a total ripoff, because the receipt says the refrigerator was new!
