I reported a refrigerator not working on 06/26 and was given a date for a technician to come out of 07/02 (6days) i called every day advising them that i had a husband on insulin that had to be kept refrigerated and every day they stated to me that they put me on the emergency list(misinformation). when asked what this meant i was advised if someone canceled they would call me(misinformation).

Technician made it to my house on 07/02 my scheduled DD. unfortunately parts had (compressor and a relay) to be ordered and due to holiday weekend they don't expect part to be in until 07/07 but it got here on 07/06 (compressor) now relay was on back order and sears called and left message. I called them back and was advised they would not be coming on the 10th because order was held for parts. I spoke to a supervisor (his #4903) who canceled the relay so it could flow and i can get service on Friday the 10th and this was after arguing with him for half an hour.

Lo and behold Friday the 10th comes and no technician shows and no one can give me a reason why. Representative (2) told me they would call me right back within a hour never called and never put notations in account. I now spoke to a second manager that told me when i told him about losing 6 boxes of insulin that i had a medical emergency and he can squeeze me in on Saturday the 11th which was verified with customer complaints line and corporate office and can you believe they did not show. Now we are looking at 2 missed dates with no call they left me sitting here waiting for someone that was not going to show!!

I have lost all my food,six boxes of insulin which I had to go buy 2 boxes costing me $40 and I lost my granddaughter formula and had to go buy powdered so i wouldn't lose any more and at this point Saturday July 11 8:50pm I have lost my patience with sears and their incompetency and their right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing tactics.......

Not sure If you got the Master Protection agreement with it or not, But when something similar happened to me, the extended service paid for a loaner fridge, and gave me up to 250$ dollars for the food that spoiled. And this happened a little over 3 years after I bought it. The repair itself would have cost me around $600 dollars and I only paid about $200 for the service agreement.
