I read rebuttals from other complaints and found a 'David' with an email address. Something like 'searscares.com. I emailed him and he promptly called me, was very courteous and researched my rebate. Since I bought my products in 2008 but did not have them delivered until 2009, their system had me in limbo and that's why only some employees could find my rebate information. It depended upon what year they looked up my rebate. The bottom line was, since it was over 6 months, I would have to start all over again and resubmit my rebate. David did not want to put me through that again and just had Sears cut me a check for the rebate which I received about 8 days later. If you have a Sears rebate problem, save yourself about 20 hours and months of angst and just call David at (512) 248-7982.
