'Dear sir.. 'I have decide to  purchase a new  mower but not from Sears..  ( AFTER 35 YEARS  AS A SEARS CUSTOMER )--'I'm 76 years old  and I don't like to play games .. 'They  tight the Drive Control cable so tight -I couldn't -even pull the handle.. it is not working the grass catcher is linking the muffler is gone.. I'd only used the mower 7 times.. and all the problems?? The Sears worker in Livingston mall ..a very nice person . had told me that! this mower was a return .. he told me please keep it between us..I cant go back and ford 35 miles loading the mower in my small car ..either send someone to pick the more from my home.. have it fixed or replaced .. or please just forget about  am 76 years old .. a person with decency pride and honesty.. so ....
 
But I would like to thank you for trying to resolve this issue.. you are the only one who have sown  respect and willingness to help.. some others have being disrespectfully to me .. but I'll let it go..

I honest feel bad and  kind uncomfortable saying it... but  the ''drive control is not working.. so is the bag .. grass catcher.... they told me they adjust the control.. the whole unit  should and needs to be replaced. period.. .  they ''Sears'' sold to me  an old prior used mower'.. When I open the box.. there was no  ''BAG..  INSIDE'' I WENT  BACK TO THE SEARS STORE AND THEY TOLD ME.. THAT!   its because  this  specific mower doesn't include the bag so I'D  to pay out of my pocket for the bag.. The drive control  wasn't working then and is not working now.. the muffler is all burn out.. this is not a new unit.. I will  report this to BBB and also  to CRAFTSMAN.. -- if Sears will not replace the   mower with a new one.. even the person  " a worker '' at Sears store had told me this Mower is not a new one..

I'm really sorry and I do feel bad.. Sears is my store for the past 35 years I'd spend thousands and thousands  an Sears products.. but...omit....

 Problems need to be fixed 

 

1) Drive Control is not workable  never was working  good.. don't move at all now..

2) Grass Catcher is for a different  type  mower.. They ( sears )told me they don't have the original..catcher.. I think the mower was a used one and they sold to me for  a new one..I went back to them 3 different times  same answer  no grass catcher for this  mower..  if the Grass Catcher can be fixed then fixed or please give me the correct one.. I only used the Mower 12 times last year.. small back yard .   I think they sold me a used mower..  I do apologize for any inconveniences I may have cause you...

 

3)  Please either  sharp or replace the Blade if need ..

4) check Belts wires  grease etc..

 

  I really do believe that'   they did  sold me a used  and not anew mower..  I do apologize for any inconveniences I may have cause you...
