I went in to the sears store in Enid , Okla at Oakwood Mall . I bought a new washer and dryer..The Maytag neptune .. they goes on the base . They was to deliver it on Friday ... So I took the whole day off ...I waited and waited ..no one called No one showed up ..I called and called and no one knew a thing ... Finally about 7 that night they showed up ... they went flying by the house we live on a dirt road ..I am guessing they was doing about 80 slamed on the brakes when they went by ..when they backed up and got here ..the washer and the dryer was damaged ..well its no wonder ... they had one excuse after another ... well they went ahead and brought it in and set it up said they would give me 10 % off or order me a new set ... we are about 50 miles from the sears we bought it at.

We went down there talked to management ..she said they would take 10 % off dryer and oder me a new washer ...for the door wouldnt even shut . it is a front loading one..I myself took the door off and switched it around and it helped .

The next week same thing they was to being the washer out ... still no phone call ..the manager said Travis would bring it ...he was their best ..HAHA travis set it up on a Sat Knowing that he didnt work on Saturdays ..

Well sat came the new washer came ... they guy said wheres your mom ..I went out and heard him saying oh s**t thats what we heard when we went off the road .. well the back of it was caved in ..He told me they didnt check it in shipping he didnt know I heard what he just said to the other guy ..he had to use a crowbar to pull the back out ...he said we will order you another one ..

but he took the old one out already and brought in this one ..hooked it up ...mind you both times the hot was hooked to the cold and the cold to the hot both times we had to change it ...

well I went down to the store

this man got smart with me

said its not them that its the matag company ...well he is wrong they have nothing to do with how they drive ... He said you will just have to deal with it ..thats how it is now days with help ... and they would order me another or do what ever I want ..but couldnt say the next set wouldnt be damaged too??? Isnt that sad ... I said order me a new set please washer and dryer ... finally they did ... the manage said they would send Travis out ...well he set it up when he went on vacation ..the day before they was to being it out she said yes travis is bringing it out .. a MANAGER that has no clue ..

Well they brought the new set out ..on sat ..one guy had been here before ... the other guy had never hooked one up before ...he did what he could..

Well they left ..I switched the doors to open different ... the washer hoses was hooked up wrong and the drier wasnt even vented out ..they had pulled it off when the moved it back ... to sad ..what a mess ... no one cares anymore about the service ..they just sell you the stuff ..and they come throw it at you and hope it works and if not OH WELL ... SO SICK Of messing with them ..

As I've posted before, I can't stand Sears. Had similar experiences with Sears and will not do business with them except on a rare occasions. What you probably should have done is refuse delivery. When people accept substandard service, companies get by with it. Be it Sears or fast food places. If the delivery jerks had returned with damaged machines they would have been the ones with some explaining to do. As it was, you took delivery, just trying to be the nice person that you are, and needed the machines. Call Sears back, tell them to take the whole mess back and get a refund. It's the only thing they'll understand.
