Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I was ordering a computer from Overstock.com and during the process of paying for the computer 2 blocks pop up  (you can't close) saying you have ben selected for a free sample or trial.   You  can't finish the order for the computer until you get rid of the box  (can't just close it).

Sarium Skin Cream is one of the blocks. They present a sample or trial for just the shipping charges of $1.98.  This was not the block I selected - I filled out the bolck for the supplemental mineral shipping charge - also $1.98 for the shipping.  There is appearently fine print off the bottom of the computer screen that if you do not cancell the order in 14 days they charge the entire amount.   You can's see any of this the way it is presented and it is spaced so there is no indication that there is other info somewhere in this offering.  This is just a scam to get your card # and address.  You don't even know what the entire amount is.

I did not fill out the Sarium order block (I filled out the supplemental minerals bolck) so Sarium Skin Cream had to get this information from the minerals bolck.  I never received any Sarium Skin Cream.  In 14 days they charged my account for $88.99.  I called the company and they told me about the 14 days and said that they would cancell my account.  I never established and account with them.  They reversed the charge for two days and then charged the account again for $88.99 (After the pending charges expried on my bank account)

I called the company again and a recording says all agents are busy and they will call me back.  They never called back.  I filed a claim against the charge with my bank.  This is just a scam.  The Sarium Skin Cream offer is missleading and is presented in a format to rip you off for a product that you really dont't want.  There are other rip off reports that this skin cream was paried with an eye care product several years ago.  The scam is excatly the same - except "Sarium" is spelled a little differntly.
