Santa Monica DMV (Department Of Motor Vehicles) they have very long lines at 7:30 a.m. and their Driver's Licenses and/or Renewals are a Very Hefty, Inflated, Price Gouging Amount Of $35.00 Dollars! santa monica California
California Department Of Motor Vehicles Sucks! I have Not been to the Department Of Motor Vehicles office in years since I am Not driving that much anymore, or hardly at all! The reason of Why I went was to renew my Driver's License because it had expired and I think that I will need one because I might be Renting A Car for My Mother's 87th Birthday pretty soon if I can Not get an affordable Ride-Share Type Of Situation. Sadly, the lines over here were horrendous. I arrived at about 7:30 P.M. in the morning and You can see right behind me exactly how busy it was. In Addition To The Very Long Lines, the Price Of Just Renewing Your Cheap Plastic California Driver's License Is $35.00 Dollars. I Can Not believe the Price for Just A Piece Of Plastic That Costs Pennies On The Dollar To Make. In Any Case: I think I was served within two (2) hours and Believe ME, they Can Do Much Better Than That From Within Their Customer Service To Have Speedier Lines as well! Lowering the Price Of Their Driver's License Would Also Be A Benefit And Recommendation as well in which they will Never Listen To ME! I want to personally Thank the Staff from the California Department Of Motor Vehicles For Offering Such A Wonderful Service To All Of Us California Drivers. California's license renewal fee is going up $1.00 January 1st. California's fee is about average compared to other states. Some states charge as much as $80. for the class C license and double that for commercial. A portion of the fee is what pays operating costs and payroll.

Ten points for the most original post of the day, after all no one has ever complained about the speed of service at the DMV. Might I recommend a movie called Zootopia. Where you may want to pay particular attention to the duties of the Sloths.
