Complaint Review: Sandi Duran - Alamosa Colorado

WARNING: Sandi Duran of Alamosa, CO lied to the management of Rio Grande Scenic Railroad resulting in the termination of my lucrative consulting contract. This revealed a broader psychological condition revealing anti-social behaviors.

Sandi Duran seems to enjoy hurting others and receives some kind of mental benefit destroying other people's opportunities. She was critical of my management style even though I had just started. She was argumentive and unable to smile.

Contrary to her opinion of me, management and other workers were excited at my results and were looking forward to more changes, recommendations and inciteful assistance. They were all excited I was there making big differences in their operation's. I was congratulated daily and was appreciated by all but Sandi.

In 2009, I was hired by the President of the company to consult on concerts and music festivals. This was based on my 35 years of experience in travel and entertainment marketing, operations and sales. Later the company requested I assist on improvements in their ticketing and reservations department where Sandy Duran works.

I was forewarned of her track record in disrupting and negatively affecting other staff. Many workers who had resigned before my arrival revealed that they left due to Sandi's negative statements and behavior. Previous workers said they refused to sit in the same seat she had sat in because it stunk so bad. That she had created problems for them there and was not a team player. In fact, I learned she is a disruptor and a serious potential trouble source. Afraid of a lawsuit, the company stupidly kept here and allowed her to continually drive out good workers. turnover was excessive and Sandi was obviously the reason, besides the stress put on the company by dysfunctional policies, what I was sent in to fix.

Upon making my rounds interviewing all personnel, I saw that Sandi was morbidly obese. I took her into my confidence with her son present, and made her aware I felt she was an asset to the company and that she should look forward to advancing in the company. Caring about improving worker's lives, I then politely asked about her weight. She agreed she had a serious health threatening weight problem and was doing something about it.

Sandi stated that she was aware that better looking people made more money and gained more business opportunity. I did not respond to this not knowing whether it was true or not.

I suggested a daily walk with her son and making sure she ate breakfast, which she said she was not eating properly. She also stated she had an alcohol consumption problem late at night. I made her aware that the body sees alcohol as sugar.
I did not criticize her or make any statements to anyone else about her excessive weight. In spite of her problems, I supported her.

After one of my trips to Alamosa to work on operations there, Sandy went to the General Manager and told him that I had threatened her job if she didn't lose weight.
Afraid of a lawsuit the company lawyer called me for my account. I then wrote to Sandy and explained that if there was not a retraction, I would sue her for defamation and slander. my contract was terminated within a few days. 

My 3 year contract was worth a minimum of $156,000. and if I had procured major sponsors and a percentage of music festival net profits, which they had asked me to do, the contract was worth up to $500,000. Sandi Duran is responsible for this lost income and the destruction of my reputation in that company.

In retrospect, though I was kind and understanding to all there, it is now clear that Sandi is a drunk and a fat pig with serious mental problems. I believe she is suicidal and is a great danger to have in any office work situation.

In my ongoing pursuit for justice, I have no choice but to expose her destructive and maliciously hurtful ways to authorities and the public through Press Releases. I reserve the right to bring legal action against her for damages incurred.
