I ordered a king size mattress set from samsclub.com. After 3 weeks, I was contacted by a local shipping company to set up a delivery time. A few days later, my mattress set was delivered but was short a box spring (king size sets come with two box springs). I accepted delivery because I needed something to sleep on (mattress on the floor). I contacted Sams Club several times, spoke to several CSR's who never seemed to have a clue what was going on (do they even keep notes of conversations??) but my box spring was nowhere to be found and they would have to ship a new one. A few days later, I was told to contact the shipping company the next day and they would arrange a time to ship my new box spring. I contacted the shipping company and they told me they had refused delivery of the new box spring because it had a hole in it.

So now it has been more than 5 weeks since my order, 2 weeks since the original delivery, Sams Club didn't seem to care, and I was looking at another week of sleeping on the floor. When I complained, I was told, "Well, you're not actually sleeping on the floor, you're sleeping on a mattress on the floor." WTF? When I asked how they would make this right monetarily, they offered we a $25 gift card. When I declined and asked for them to pick up the mattress and box spring I've already received, they jumped at the chance. What the heck will they do with a used mattress? Isn't it worth it to them to just give me a better deal on it and let me keep it? So now I'm told they will pick it up sometime this week and once they receive it back, they'll credit my credit card. Who pays for the interest in the meantime? Should I dispute the charge on my credit card?

Just take it back to your local Sam's club. They may not at first want to take it back but they will and refund it back to you credit card and offer a better compensatition. They do value their members and if you dont get satisfaction get your membership refunded because it is 100% guranteed. Call 1-800-walmart if you can not get any help, they WILL take care of it.

What a sorry state of affairs we live in. They try and deliver half a mattress set and you accept it. Their fault for trying to pawn off half a mattress. Your fault for accepting half a mattress set. You should have said, no way, keep it until it's complete. If I can't have it in a day or two, I'll go elsewhere. Alot of those places guarantee same day or next day delivery. You wanted some compensation. They offered some, which you declined. Then you offer to keep half a mattress set, what were the terms, which they pass on. I know, how about only have the interest on your credit card. You got to sleep on half a matress set.
