Although we initially started with Sam we were quickly pushed off to his staff. We were selling a investment property right next door to our home, so we were a little more careful who we were going to sell to as these people would be our neighbours. Throughout the process we had an interested buyer who we just did not like and made it very clear that this was not the person we were going to sell to.
To make a long story short, Sams team changed the name on the offer so that we wouldn't know it was the same person. We accepted the offer and when we found out it was too late to do anything as it would have to involve lawyers.
Needless to say this was a terrible experience and the only upside is he rents it out. He does no maintenance and is letting the property fall apart which has caused several of the neighbours to question me about who we sold to. I guess to some people it is more important about the dollars than the morals.
