S. G. Short I got caught in this scam also. Fresno California
I thought I was renewing my vehicle regestration but instead some other site grabbed information and sent me to another site, that was not legit. I did not know it at the time. I only realized that something was wrong when an charge appeared on my credit card from CarRegistrationOnline.com.
I have filed a dispute with the credit card company and they are looking into this. Hopefully I will get my money back but only time will tell.
I hope more people report this scem so that this bogus company can be put out of business. It seems like the crooks keep coming up with biger, newer more legit looking scams everyday.
Any one wanting to access the DMV in their state be very very careful.
I even tried to access the site, so I could complain in person but it could not be found.
