Ryan Homes NVR Leaks Ripoff New Castle Delaware
We purchased our first home in Oct 2000. The house was built in 1997. The previous owner made us aware of a leaky basement window, but assured us the window was repaired by the owner and had documents showing the repair. around six mos later not only did both basement windows leak, but water was coming from under the basement stairs.
I had a leaking window in the living room and dining room also in the master bathroom my ceiling and window leaked. Not sure if it was the leaks or my new wife being upset that was getting to me more. I called my broker who told me to call Ryan and they should come out and take care of the leaks.
Thay came out and was VERY familiar with the leaks, and talked of the old owner as if this was a road already traveled. The man that came out said "Mr.**** don't worry we will take care of this. It has been four years and nothing has been done. I have called I have screamed I have emailed I now see why people snap and do crazy things.
It's the only way to get results. Now Ryan tells me they have no record of ever being here and I need to use my insurance and leave them alone.
Not that this will do anything I just had to vent before I snap!
