If you read the comment that was posted here on August 9, 2008 in its entirety, and then type in 529757 at this site and read Consumer Comment #1 at Ripoff Report 529757 you will be able to see that the MSM neglected to do anything about the information that they were sent on 9/12/2007.

A year after that letter was mailed on 9/12/2007, which is posted in Consumer Comment #1 at Ripoff Report 529757, the entire system collapsed.

Less than eight weeks after the comment posted here at your Ripoff Report on August 9, 2008, the entire system collapsed. 

It’s too bad that the Mainstream Media in America is obviously being controlled by corrupt, deceptive, and greedy people who want to hide important information from Americans. A lot of people say that the Mainstream Media is “Fake News”. I think that the correct term is this; “Selective News”.

To Jim in Florida. Thank you for your comments but I would like to clarify two points. #1 I handled the transaction and drove off with the new car in the same day. It was not until I got home that day and found they had pulled my credit report. The transaction was over. #2 In regards to your "fradulent fees" comment, I did not say they were fradulent, just outrageous. While I wish more than anything I did not purchase this vehicle from Route 44 Toyota, it was a done deal before I found they had pulled my credit report which was the main issue for me.

Went to legend mazda yesterday with the wife cause she was interested in a new vehicle. Ask to see the vehicles that they have listed in their ad. They're all sold, no surprise. Pick out another vehicle and hand the salesman her keys to appraise her vehicle. 30 minutes later, the happy, smiling salesman approaches us with the figures in a "4 square" AND a happy face drawn on the paper. He's gonna "give" us $4,000 below blue book, $3,000 off the MSRP, cause mazda is giving $3,000 in rebates, HIS suggested monthly payment of $605 to $610(We're talking an msrp of $21,000) for 48 months with a $4,000 DOWNPAYMENT. This MF is trying to sell us this $16 to $17,000 vehicle for a least $33,280+ interest. I told him I didn't think THAT was gonna work. I told him I'd offer him $16,000 for his vehicle. He got all excited cause he thought I was offering him $16,000 out the door, straight up, just to buy his vehicle. Not a bad deal for them cause they probably pay around $14 to $15,000 and if you take off the $3,000 in rebates paid by mazda, it's like selling the vehicle for $18 to $19,000 making an easy $4 or $5,000 on a 08, when the 09's are coming in and the economy sucks. When he figured out I was offering $16,000 for the total deal, he lost his excitement. I said go present to "the boss", the one he'd been standing their yakking with on and off for the last half hour. He comes back saying something about not being a serious offer. I said about as serious as the offer you presented us. It's bad enough when a salesman thinks I'm stupid. But when he thinks I'm stupidier then he is. Out the door we went. I buy a lot of vehicles. I haven't had anyone play that game with me in decades. Hard to believe. The guy was going for at least $12,000 to $16,000 or more, on that deal. Well what do they say. You can't blame a car dealer for trying. What a scumbag.

If you are purchasing for cash then you only get as personal as required when the final purchase bill of sale is completed. And doc fees etc. are standard practice and if you ''Just say no'' to them they will simply go away. You might be able to generate some heat under them on this, but I suggest that you not become so incensed that you develop an ulcer.

What is wrong here??? They did this to you and you went thru with the deal???? You did say they stuck you with FRAUDULENT doc fees. They lied to you over and over and you went thru with the deal???
