Hey Karl are you the Roto Rooter spokesman? If so you should be plugged up, and rooted out for no charge.

Roto Rooter came out and did there job. When you call a rooter company out to do a job you are paying for them to pull their machine off the truck and to run it down the line. They don't guarantee results. You do not pay for results. You pay for the service of the technician running the cable down the drain, and thats what he did. So stop bitching, and pay what you owe.

Grace, Don't worry about Karl. He's just upset because in his opinion, you're throwing away perfectly good food. You see, almost everything in Knoxville is fried. Fish, chicken, potatoes, okra, cornbread, etc., so they typically save what's left for tomorrow's grease feast. Recycling at its finest! Back to your case - I would advise you to file a police report about the harassment, just in case vandalism may be next on this guy's list of things to do. You never know. Good luck!

Carl, For your information We had just moved into the house and I do not pour grease down the drain we always pour it into the garbage. The landlady told us the previous tenants used to pour stuff down the drain. I do not appreciate your rudeness and accusations to me. the next time you respond to someones complaint make sure you know all the facts first. Also for your info Roto rooter did not do the job I hired them for. The plumber who cleared the pipes was the one who replaced the pipes. Landlady told us that also when the previous tenants lived there she was always having to call the plumber to clear the drain. and another thing The landlady knew it was grease because she was there.

Dear Grace,It sounds to me like the slum lord should be upset with the first plumber. If he put new pipes in the house six months ago,WHY are they stopped up.Maybe he is the person that did not do his job or maybe YOU should stop pouring grease down the drain. It sounds to me like, you are not blaming the right people.I would bet that you have not told the Slum Lord that grease was the problem.

I spoke to my landlady and even though she did not know I had hired Roto Rooter to unclog drain until after they had shown up and did not do their Job. The manager of the LaGrande Oregon Roto Rooter has been calling my landlady screaming and making threats to her because we stopped payment on the check to them. I cannot believe what this company will stoop to
