Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Do not buy from RTG. They have attempted 4 deliverys and have not got one right. We are not paying what is due until they fix the problems. They are now calling my wife at work and bothering her.

The product from RTG, is very poor, the 1-800 customer service line,( i use that term loosly) is like calling a brick wall. Be prepared to wait at least 30 minutes.

They are the only furniture store that has a counter web site. In your search engine type Rooms to go sucks. Read about all the horror stories. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

First, this complaint is signed as Robin yet you state, "They are now calling my wife at work and bothering her." So are you the person on the order or is your wifes name on it? Rooms To Go associates have very specific instructions to only deal with the person who's name is either on the deliver to address or the account holder and no one else so they may be trying to reach you wife if she is the primary person on the order so they can find out exactly what the problem is. At least they are attempting to resolve it. Try buying from another company and getting them to do anything about their screw ups. Second, as far as quality, Rooms To Go is NOT a high end furniture store. You knew that when you shopped there however, they own mnay of the manufacturers that build furniture not only for Rooms To Go but many of their competitors and if they don't own the plant, the rest of the product is made in the same plants that manufacture for other name brands such as Thomasville and Broyhill. RTG furniture for the most part, exceeds industry standards in quailty yet they offer it at a much greater value. In order to do that, some convenience is sacrificed in order to offer the prices AND the finance terms that you may have taken advantage of. If you did take advantage of their financing, then your payments are not due for at least a year and probably longer since they usually run 16 to 18 month no interest, no payment plans. My advice, call the store and speak to the manager or go to Rooms To Go dot com and folow these instructions: At the bottom of the main page there is a blue HELP icon. Under that, it lists customer service first. Click on that. On the next page, click on ONLINE SUPPORT. Type a letter and address it to PRESIDENTIAL. I guarantee that will get you more help than calling customer service. Rooms To Go has fewer complaints compaired to the amount of business we do than any other furniture company in the world and RTG is the largest by volumn in the world.

When and where did Robin mention anything about the RoomStore? I worked for Rooms to Go for 7 years. Five at Corporate in Seffner and Atlanta, and two in Sales. When in sales I was told by my manager after writing $125K in a month (which isn't that great)that I "could have much higher sales" if I "didn't spend as much time with" my customers. RTG customer service is awful, unless you get a hold of Kerri Otis, Steve Hedgepath, or some other over worked and under paid individual with the power to make things happen. The real truth is, that RTG is the McDonalds of the furniture industry and only making it because Jeffrey Seaman is a brilliant rich guy who has surrounded himself with great people except for Eyal Rappaport, Ed Biard, and Gerry Raymond to name a few.

I am a store Store Manager. I just wanted to point out to you that you have lumped Rooms To Go together with The RoomStore. They are two separate companies. Rooms To Go started 11 years agon in Florida. The RoomStore was part of the Helig-Myers family of furniture stores until they went bankrupt. Being the only profitable part of the Helig-Myers family, a select few of the Helig-Myers stores were converted to RoomStores, but I am not sure how many. In any case, the two are NOT RELATED! There will always be complaints, legitimate and otherwise against any company. If you are going to make the claims you do, at least get some of the facts straight.
