Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
The attorney I went to in April of 99 is either insane or just wanted to play games with someone's head and he did; and it cost me 500.00 plus+++++.You don't play games with the IRS or at least I didn't want to;so

I needed a tax lawyer. He advertised in the yellow pages "my clients never meet with the IRS";what it doesn't say is that you never meet with him either! After my initial phone call I went to his downtown Pgh.office.I wrote him a check for an initial 500.00;he said that he would send me a contract saying that it was for tax preparation and a down payment on the rest of his fees.So

I waited about 3 weeks never received the contract;calle dhim he said it was in the mail;give it a few days.Four days later-no contract. So I telephoned him again he again said it was in the mail.Waited about another 3 weeks this now being around the end of july99.I telephoned him again asking if he made any headway on my tax return;because he was suppose to find out if the money was taxable to start off with.Said that he was close to being done and would send it to me to file as soon as possible.(At this point I knew I wasn't getting no contract so I gave up on that point and just wanted my taxes done to file.)

So around the 2nd week of july99;I started to panic because the deadline was Aug.15th99.So I email him;no response;telephone him;he says he's finished and hes going to send me a copy of the rough draft so I got the rough draft and phoned him saying I don't know anything about taxes but if you say it's taxable then it is;so prepare the final copy to be filed.

So I wait a week, nothing.Called him ;he said it's in the mail;waited a couple more days nothing-it's now Aug.6. Aug.7th; nothing in mail went to his office;wasn't there left a nasty note under his door telling him I wanted back my 500.00 and all the original papers I had given to him.Around 3 or 4 pm the next day I hear a knock at the door;it's Bob Young.

He said "i'm sorry that I pissed you off".I said well at least you got them to me before the deadline. So I immediately mailed them to the IRS.Then I got the letters from the IRS stating that I owe them a ton of money. He was suppose to get me the forms that I needed when I filed to say that I couldn't pay.Never received them.Called him;he told me it was int he mail.

Here we go again with the mail.So I continued to get letters from the IRS.I faxed them to him;everything.never received those forms.Called him ;he said he sent them to me.Never received them. Then he sent me a letter saying that he had to do something and I would be getting the forms shortly.

Finally I couldn't take any more of this crap so I wrote on that letter at the bottom that he was fired and I wanted half of my money back.Never received a response. So i retained another attorney and now i'm having complacency problems with him too;but...that's for another report.Any ideas my e-mail is [email protected]
