Roark Travel Club , Club Resort Intervals, LLC Promises not fulfilled Branson Missouri
I am now the proud owned of a $3350.00 Leather binder. That is all that I got from this company that I can ever use. They ruined a perfectly good vaction to Branson with their lies and promises.
While very leary of these types of offers we had some extra time and took the offer of $70.00 to sit through the presentation.
During the presentation the salesman stated to me that their representatives would beat any web prices on travel. Since we do not travel that often we were unable to test this until recently.
When planning a recent trip to Las Angeles and San Diego I called the number given to me by the "shell" Club Resort Intervals which when answered turned out to be Roark Travels. The representative took down my infromation. I repeated the dates of departure (a Thursday) and return (a Wednesday) Thrice.
When we received the quote it was for a Satuday to Saturday stay. I beat the price quoted by $300.00 on travelocity with my first inquiry. I informed the representative by e-mail of the incorrect date.
The repesentative replied with correct dates but vertually the same price and a terse comment implying that I had given her the wrong dates . By this time I had missed my window of opportunity on travelocity. We opted to drive and use priceline for the rooms. We spent far less than the over $1200 per person quoted by Roark Travel and stayed in four star hotels like the Hilton in Anaheim and the Westgate in San Diego as well.
All this makes me wonder why I am paying $99.00 a month to these people when I end up doing all the work myself for my one or two trips a year.
