WARNING!!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS SCHOOL!!!!!! The staff at Roadmaster Drivers School is full of liars and thieves. The training is exactly as the negative reviews say that it is. The vehicles are barely drivable. You will not be able to do the yard maneuvers for more then about 5-10 minutes in a full 10 hour day because the student to instructor ratio is about 12 to 1 on average. During my time attending "classes" at Roadmaster there were too many too name instructors hired, fired, quitting, etc. The room they set me and another friend up in was a complete dump with no AC working in July. The toilets were over flowing with feces and the "motel" staff wouldn't have maintenance come to fix it or change our rooms so myself and my friend had to pay for lodging out of pocket on our own. They extorted money from the VA (a felony & federal offense) that I am now in the beginning process of reporting to the government for time that I didn't even spend in the "motel". If you find any good reviews on this school it is from a made up profile/person trying to cover up what this school is truly doing to students. Do a search on the pissed off consumer site and other similar sites and you will find this to be 0 TRUE! I was desperate for work so I thought I would try to ignore the negative reviews and that was a very big mistake. I ended up having to go to another more reputable CDL school for actual training and time behind the wheel of a fully functional tractor-trailer. I passed my test and got my CDL from that reputable school with ease. I am in contact with multiple recent students from Roadmaster drivers school that are now having money extorted from them as well. I also spoke to multiple recent students that were told there are "numerous" trucking companies hiring new grads out of this school and that is an outright lie! I should have listened to the advice of others across the web and I wouldn't have a $7200 debt!

the driver school in question also known as Roadmaster driver school. Has locations throughout the United States including Florida and Oklahoma. I am a recent graduate of this school and I couldn't be happier. In my experience there can be a bunch of students to one or two instructors this part is true. However you have what is called observation time in which you should be observing the mistakes and the successes of the people around you. When you are in a truck and not driving you're supposed to use it like a classroom watching mistakes and success is to help you further your knowledge. If for some reason you couldn't drive the truck its because you can't drive. Out on the road you will find many trucks that are hard to drive and then you'll find something extremely easy to drive. If you think your going out on the road and you're going to have a perfect working truck every single day of you're driving career then someone has pulled a veil over your eyes. Truck driving simply is not for everyone.
