Wanting to purchase a used mini-van with just less than 80,000 miles. The website stating that they finance vehicles 2005-newer with less than 90,000 miles. Once approved, my loan packet stated the vehicles had to be 2004-newer with less than 60,000 miles. I even applied with co-borrower to see if that would change anything. It greatly increased my max loan amount, but mileage and year remained the same.

I tried to do the online chat twice and both times as soon as I submitted my question, the RoadLoans representative immediately terminated the chat session.

I then sent them an email (redacted chain to follow) to their email address on their website for questions. Instead of being given an answer, I was instructed to call. When I told them I was not interested in calling and wanted information in writing, I was once again instructed to call. See below.

These people are sketchy and I refuse to do any business with them at this point.

I would like an answer via email please. I attempted to submit this question on two separate occasions this morning using your "Chat with an Live Agent" feature on your website. One time I was connected to a "William" and as soon as I submitted my question he terminated the chat. The second time I was connected to a "Monique" and once again, as soon as I submitted the question the chat session was terminated.

I would like this information in writing via email. I do not wish to discuss this issue over the phone, instead I would like to have written documentation for my own records. If you are unable or unwilling to provide this information, please let me know so I can pursue other loan options with other companies.

Thank you,

Importance: High

Hello,

Two questions regarding the RoadLoans application I submitted:

The first is that the RoadLoans website states one the "How RoadLoans Works" page (https://www.roadloans.com/car-loans/our-process, bullet point 2) that vehicles must be 2005 or newer with less than 90,000 miles. I submitted to the auto-loan approval process based on this claim; however, when I view my loan-packet it states that the vehicle must be a 2004 or newer with less than 60,000 miles. Why is there a difference between the mileage on your homepage (with no reference to qualifications for the higher miles) and what is on my packet? I even tried resubmitting (application XXXXXXX) with a co-borrower and my loan amount increased dramatically, but the year and mileage on the packet remained the same. I am wanting to purchased a used mini-van that has roughly 80,000 miles on it and was counting on the quoted 90,000 miles as stated on the front page of the website.

My second question is never actually answered on the website at all. Do I have to purchase for a franchised dealer, or are independent dealers allowed? When I use the "Search for a Dealer", all that pops up are franchised dealerships; however, I don't see any written restrictions either on the website or in my Loan Packet that states that independent dealers are not welcome.

Thank you for your time.
