R.M.A.Legal Network Have various SUPPOSED TO HELP WITH HFC/BENIFICAL MODIFICATON Holbolk New York
RMA contacted me via mail about HFC/Benificial loan modificatoitns, stating they could get me a permant modification at less thn 3%. When I contacted then the guy I talked to sent me the paperwork and told me to stop paying my mortgage that way it looked as if it was a hardship. I signed the paperwork and over the course of 3 months dished out over $3500.00 and they to me that they were in contact with HFC the whole time, which was a lie. Mean time more then 6 months went by and I was o er 6 monthpast due on the mortgage and they told me not to worry that it would be put on the back of the modification.
Finally after 9 months I received a foreclose notice from HFC and called them to find out what was going on and they told my that they had just received the power of attorney, that was signed 9 months before, giving RMA permission to do the modification and they, HFC,would only do a modification for 2 years at 4% and I would have to pay them $5500.00. I called RMA about this and they told me that HFC was lately not willing to work with them on modifications.
So I said "what did you do wait until it went into forecloselike a credit card before you acted on it?", and they said they worked on it the whole time. But when I asked them about HFC just getting the power of attornory, they couldn't answer. So now I am in forecloser due to them and if there is a class action lawsuit or lawyer doing one please contact me. The CEO and all of the people that worked for this company need to have thier homes taken away as I'm sure they had thier hands in taking away many people home away from them,
