Rick Gevers Richard T Gevers Richard Thomas Gevers He Scammed me for Money and LIES, LIES, LIES about a Truck that i co own Arlington Texas
Unfortunately, I went to school with Mr Richard (RICK) Gevers. Saw he was on Facebook one night decided to say Hi! Worst day of my life. He lives in Texas i still live in NJ so we talked about that kind of thing for awhile just catching up i haven't seen or talked to him in over 35 years as i was married for that amount of time.
He painted himself as this great guy who has his own business,, RTG Roofing, aka Clayton Roofing in Arlington Texas. Of course everything he told me were nothing but lies, unfortunately i found it out the hard way over 2 1/2 years now.
After not even a month talking to him, he told me he does this "DEAL" with GE and if i send him money i will get more money back in return. And the more i send the more ill get back. Stupid me, being recently divorced i needed money and he said he wanted to "Help Me"! I sent him $4,000.00 most of my savings. Over the course of 2 1/2 years i have done nothing but hear Lie after Lie after Lie about why it hasn't happened yet. Twice i literally went nuts over the phone telling him i was going to report him and low and behold after going through hell i got 2,000.00 back. Well again LIE after Lie same thing i had an emotional breakdown on the phone telling him i would do what i had to do to get my money back. I got another 2,000.00 of my own money back.
Of Course NEVER received any other money along with Computers he says he has in storage that he was going to send me... The stories he comes up with are totally insane and i think he is the only one that believes them! When i asked over and over where's the other money...his response is: YOU GOT YOUR MONEY BACK!!!! Well i don't make a habit out of sending someone thousands of dollars just to get that back for no reason...I believe he used all the money for his own personal use because he's been accused of the same thing before, scamming others out of money. I only WISH i googled him before i did anything i would NEVER have done that OR.....Co signing for a truck for him!!!
Right before Christmas same year He asked me to Co sign on a truck loan for him... I DID NOT want to do it but he kept hounding me, and i am a very good hearted person. My brother had to do that for me when i got divorced so i thought ok he needs help! So the papers were sent from Texas to NJ for me to sign. I noticed my monthly Salary was listed as 3 x the amount of $ i really made. I contacted the dealer who said to change and initial it. So right then i should have declined doing the signing as i thought something was very Fishy!!But i went through with it after he insisted over and over i would NEVER have to pay it He would NEVER do that to me!!
One day i was at work, i received a call from the Finance company saying payment was Late and How would i be paying it!!! Iwas so angry i called Richard Gevers and told him he needs to call them and make a payment as he is late. He always took it lightly. I told him it was time to REFINANCE and get me OFF this loan that he is not paying before my Credit was affected.
Well today is MARCH 29, 2018, He has not paid a payment since NOVEMBER 2, 2017. Although he assured me he made a payment in early March as it was headed to go against my Credit. I found out weeks later ..NOT BY HIM that he never did make the payment. Twice he lied about it wth stories that are so far fetched NO ONE in their right mind would Believe them but him!
Since December 2017 he has been lying about trading in the truck so i'd be off it, i have been through LITERALLY HELL AND BACK with this guy Lie after LIE once again that he traded it in twice only to call myself the dealer telling me it fell through again...NOT HIM TELLING ME!! So here i am March 29, 2018 still waiting for a Power of Attorney paper he's been telling me they FED Ex to me overnight for months and it never comes... He is a Chronic liar Please don't trust him, I have never been more SORRY i ever talked to him and Yet i knew him back in school so i thought he was a good person and he wasn't like a stranger...BOY was i wrong.
He will tell you things and none of them are true!!! He has resorted to cursing me calling me disgusting names and refuses to take my calls regarding the truck that i Co own, because i believe he either FINALLY is running out of lies or he realized i am not going to sit back and take his lies any longer!!

This is an Update to my March 28, 2018 Report.... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE STAY Away from this scammer. He is a NO Good individual who scams money out of people using Clayton Roofing company in Arlington Texas. Formerly RTG Roofing ...He pretends to do roofing jobs and home repairs and remodling BUT its not that at all...It is where he has you send the thousands of dollars he scams out of you promising the more money you give him the more you will get back from a GE deal he does, where he only chooses 5 friends to go in on....It doesn't exist he uses the thousands to live on with his son Clay..Clayton Gevers. So as a school friend i helped him by co signing a truck for him from Texas to NJ. Later to find out he forged my signature on the papers and has not paid a payment since Nov. 2017. The truck is out for repossesion. HE IS HIDING THE TRUCK....COWARD RIGHT!! I hope the Finance company takes him to court for hiding the truck that he has not paid a payment on. They said that will come eventually...I cannot wait . HE thinks he is smart but he is really so uneduacted. The LAW will catch up with him soon, i know they will!!
Until then PLEASE do not use Clayton Roofing from Arlington TX for any Home Repairs, as he will RIP you OFF too! I hope allf the people he already ripped off will sue him he deserves everything he gets for scamming innocent people He is the Biggest LOSER i have ever met. And the biggest COWARD. When he knew i was on to his LIES after LIES ....He told me to go F**** myself and continues to lie to Chrysler that he is making a payment and NEVER DOES. So i want you all to know to stay away from him and do not hire him he will take your money up front but lie about why the work isn't being done!!! Worst GUY on this earth BEWARE of Him....

Well, i just wanted to update the situation that Richard Thomas Gevers from Arlington Texas has put me in after scamming me out of money and Lie after lie story after story that he traded in his truck that i co-signed for him when i asked him to please do so because he had not made a payment on the truck since November 2, 2017. I did not want him to ruin my credit as he did his own. He told me he traded it in twice but of course everyone was the bad guy and he was just unlucky...Well NO he was the liar all along. I asked him for a picture of his "NEW" truck, He even made up the details of the color, the Brand...He sent me a picture of a truck from a dealer parking lot!! He thinks everyone is stupid ,Never traded it in even resorted to telling the Finance company the payoff check was mailed on a certain day in March.... NEVER to arrive to them. So now that they know he is lying to them also, He refuses to take their calls and just decided HE WAS GOING TO NOT PAY AND RUIN MY CREDIT..Yes, HE DID RUIN MY CREDIT he was a Lying scammer and a coward that shut down any communication when i told him he was caught and i knew he was a Liar. He told e to go F myself and hung up. This is my experience with him over the last 2 1/2 years and i know he doesn't care about anyone so Beware of this scammer, I Wish I never talked to this Heartless Liar! But I'm a Better person now, I don't have to Listen to anymore LIES!
