RF Construction Management Rob Feldman Construction Management Leaking Shower Caulfield North Victoria
Rob Feldman was the builder of two stand alone properties, each with an extensive list of defects.
When the owner of one of the brand new properties approached him to repair the defects he became aggressive to the point where the owner was too afraid to speak with him again. The repair works to the property were never completed. I experienced the same aggression and refusal to make repairs.
The property had significant issues but I'll limit this report to the plumbing, shower and bathroom. The toilet leaked onto the bathroom tiles and the air conditioning was connected to the hot water system. The shower membrane was the cheap paper manufactured in China and it wasn't installed properly so it failed and flooded surrounding rooms. Rob Feldman acknowledged the leak and flooding and promised to fix it, but he made excuses and delayed for ten years and ultimately got away with the cost of repairing the membrane and water damage. The builder who fixed the membrane and the damage took photos of the damaged membrane and provided a report confirming it had failed, but Rob Feldman refused to contribute towards the cost of the repairs.
This guy is one dodgy bulder. I wouldn't trust a word that he says and definiteily don't believe the build quality is any good based on looks from a distance. This guy uses the cheapest products and subcontractors and once he walks away he'll play the system so he never has to rework his shabby workmanship. It's no surprise he's familiar with the Tribunal - a very difficult person to deal with indeed.
