Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
My husband and I have lived in the same apartment complex for a year now.  We have one handicap tag between our two vehicles that he drives.  We have parked the car in a handicapped spot in front of our apartment for a year and have every now and then forgotten the handicapped tag.

Today our neighbors came and told us our car was being towed.  She had told the towers that she was going to go get us because my husband has no legs and he is handicapped.  They said "You can't get them fast enough!"

By the time she got to our apartment just across the parking lot they had my car gone.  My car was there for 10 minutes and even showing them the handicapped tag they still charged us $322.  This was all in a matter of 30 minutes.

When we arrived at the lot to get the car we were not allowed to drive onto the lot.  After we walked to the office we saw one handicapped parking spot that had a car parked in it with NO handicapped tag.  And guess whose it was?  THE OWNER of the TOWING COMPANY?  But it can't be towed because it's private property.

They were rude and on a power trip and totally ripped us off for $322.  That is ridiculous and we even took the tag and nothing.  And the owner doesn't even follow the law but nothing can be done to him.  Sad, Sad, Sad!!

Yes...yes...we hear it all the time. "I forgot...to...." whatever. The point is, you forgot to display the permit that the law says you MUST display to park in those disabled zones.

It's a pitty when people think that the "Bad 'ol tow company" is to blame here when they truly are not. What happens if you drive and forget your license? You might get a hefty ticket AND you might get your car towed. What happens if you forget to put your insurance proof in the car? You might get a hefty ticket AND YOU WILL get your car towed. These are just examples...I'm sick and tired of hearing all the whining of people who "forgot."

As to the parking in the disabled zone at the tow company. True, it was in bad tasted, but so long as there are no businesses OPEN TO THE PUBLIC there, it's legal for them.
